The Oseon system was located within the Centrality. It contained the Oseon belts of asteroids, discovered by Gadfrey Oseon while he was fleeing the Hutts. The star system contained no planets, only seven asteroid belts, and the cause and origin of those asteroids was a mystery to the galaxy, leading to the system becoming famous as a tourist attraction.[3]
Behind the scenes
While Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon states that the Oseon system contains no planets,[3] Millennium Falcon contains an appearance of a planet named Oseon VII,[4] which was later confirmed by The Essential Atlas to be in the Oseon system.[1] Millennium Falcon and The Essential Atlas are considered to contain the correct depiction in this regard.
