    • As I mentioned in the Venix nom, it's not exactly codefied. Nevertheless, I've removed them.
  • If you mention the Battle of Hoth as a timeline help, please give context for it. I would prefer to simply give the year 3 ABY.
    • I was told in an earlier instance that 3 ABY was inadequate context, but that was for a different situation. Removed and replaced.
  • Any info who sent the squadron to retrieve the probe?
    • None.
  • Is "Scavenger Squadron" an official name? Sounds more like some kind of description.
    • I... that's a good question. The Prima guide doesn't give any official name, and in-game it's not referred to by that name. Instead, it's a callsign to identify the fighters, but not Pelican, so it may be specific to those R-41s. However, upon reviewing the sources again, I'm inclined to believe that it's not an official name, based on their use in the mission and a group of Y-wings encountered later, under callsign "pirate", which makes it look like it's, like you said, a description. In making the article, I was mainly attempting to split an article that mentioned a "different Scavenger Squadron" in the BTS of Scavenger Squadron, which was linked to in MK-09's article. Didn't check the source thoroughly enough, it seems, and at this point I'm not sure it's notable enough to keep - the lack of an actual name leans toward delete. Open to opinions on using {{nickname}} and keeping the article (as the group does escort a named ship on a dedicated mission, albeit a fairly unimportant one; I've currently updated the article to reflect that) or just trashing it outright, since I'm not sure myself.

        • I've moved the article around to better reflect the unofficial naming so {{nickname}} applies better. I've also gone ahead and made a forum for the article, explaining exactly what happened and why I'm (and you're) not sure what should be done with it, notability-wise.             • Seeing as there's been no progress on the forum (at least in terms of discussion - bad timing, I suppose), I feel it proper to note here that a later example of squadron naming in the game occurs in a later mission with SecForce Squadron. This squadron is also not explicitly named in either source as "SecForce Squadron" - though the callsign is indeed "SecForce", functionally identical to "Scavenger". However, it is a unique moniker and doesn't accurately describe a role (the fighters flew cover for a raiding party). Basically, all signs point to that squadron's name being "SecForce". Based on this, and other examples from the same mission (and others) that don't currently have articles, and this article from another game in the series, I feel that the squadron's nickname/callsign can indeed be considered "Scavenger" (though "Scavenger Squadron" is still not an official name) and thus the article should pass a notability test (as it's named).   • I don't believe you should bold squadron in the intro. I may be wrong, but I think that just the nicknames are the ones usually bolded.

  • You shouldn't link to the Battle of Hospital without a pipelink - its conjectural according to the article.

      • Hospital needs a bit of context, and you should italicize it, as it is the name of a platform.

    • I don't really know if it's necessary, seeing how isolated and practically inconsequential it is. There's nothing about the event that screams notability. I'm willing to listen to reasoning, though.
