"He felt that the dark, bitter brew had a taste akin to engine fuel." The 'dark and bitter' part should go under the Description, and I feel like this sentence can be reworked and merged with the previous one, since Dameron's opinion of the ale's taste was already stated prior.Zed42 (talk) 22:51, May 11, 2020 (UTC)- Done. Does Suralinda drink with the others? If so, you should note in the Description and infobox that Squamatans could also drink the ale.- She joins the others to the palace, but we don't really know if she joined in drinking the ale since Poe is the only one shown to be drinking it. UberSoldat93

- What's the exact quote when she asks Snap? Because if she's asking him to drink with them I'd say that's worthy of including the info. RattsT (talk) 08:36, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
- "Snap? Care to join us?". I think we shouldn't extrapolate much on this matter and only include examples of when it's explicitly shown to be tasted. UberSoldat93

"When Black Squadron asked…" It might be better to explicitly state which member asked, since Snap's also a member of Black Squadron.- Done. UberSoldat93

Is there another reason that Poe's not touching his drink, or is it just the taste? Does he not answer Grist when she asks?RattsT (talk) 00:46, May 18, 2020 (UTC)- It's taste. Poe replies to Grist after giving his glass away. UberSoldat93

- You should add that context then. Right now it's not evident that it was the taste and reads like Poe is just a jerk. RattsT (talk) 08:36, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Slightly reworded it. UberSoldat93

- I think you can still say a little more. It's never stated in the article that he actually dislikes the ale. A brief mention of Poe's reply would also be nice. RattsT (talk) 08:57, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Is this sufficient enough? UberSoldat93

Spooky
The 'around 34 ABY' seems like it could be worked into the intro. There is precedent among recent status drink articles to note what they can be served in, which looks to be glasses here.I think the last sentence of the Description should be trimmed. His action of taking a sip and personal opinion of the beverage's taste is better left to the History section, where it already mostly is (similar case to Plooey-sap, kept to History). It isn't necessary to have Category:Alcoholic beverages on the article, as 'Ales' is a subcategory of 'Beers', which is under the parent category 'Alcoholic beverages'.—spookywillowwtalk 05:08, May 18, 2020 (UTC)- Addressed the above. I think the first sentence of the Description could be split in two - seems like a run-on with the addition of glasses.I believe the physical description input in the infobox can include 'bitter'; some precedent exists for including similar terms of that type (eg. sweet, savory, aromatic, bitter and the like). Two things, for the last sentence of the History section."...to discuss Grist's favor to the Resistance." Reading over that scene a few times, feels like it would be better fitting to say "Grist's aid for the Resistance", vs. 'favor to'. Currently, the article's wording sounds like there was one specific favor he wanted to call in with her, when it was more of a promise to help in general."Silent, Dameron then..." I'm not sure I really understand why "Silent," is necessary on the front of the sentence.—spookywillowwtalk 21:27, May 19, 2020 (UTC)- Addressed everything above. UberSoldat93

In the Poe Dameron comic series (final issue) Grist asks the Black Squadron members if they wanted a drink shortly after the Battle of Grail City. I don't have the novel but it sounds like the scene is replayed. With this in mind, would this be valid for the Appearances section at least as {{Imo}}?Braha'tok enthusiast (Hello there) 20:22, May 16, 2020 (UTC)- It's not the same scene as the novel continues from that point, but this does count as an appearance. Good catch. UberSoldat93

- I thought it'd be something aha. I remembered the scene when I first read through this article. Braha'tok enthusiast (Hello there) 08:59, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
