Tam Posla

  • Nomination comments: Circa March 2018, I made my first foray into Star Wars comics. What had sparked my interest (besides reviews of the Charles Soule Vader series) was Star Wars Explained's February content round up, in which he mentioned Doctor Aphra 17 tieing into Rogue One a lot and showing a shot of Tam Posla, Doctor Aphra and Caysin Bog with their hands up (a crop of it).

    Posla himself was not a new character to me (I'd formerly seen a lore video on him and Bog's Rogue One stuff), but his comedically over-the-top characterisation in Doctor Aphra made him my favourite Glup Shitto, and one of my oldest projects on Wookieepedia. His cool looking ship was then my first featured article nomination; after making a very lengthly review of that, Imperators II has since been insistent on me doing Posla himself. After a overhauling the article last year, I'm happy to call this my largest nomination yet (technically my first film one too).

    P.S. This guy needs a thriller detective show. Take notes Disney+.

    • I don't think there's any harm in this, and it also serves as good context throughout that section.

Lot of using here, better to reword. This is also a run-on sentence.

  • The Rogue One teaser is on YouTube. Please link that instead and provide the publication date, which also means a full date for the film itself.

  • In "Kidnapping", you say that Posla chose to stay in the cells, but the next sentence then says that Posla was back at the ship. So it seems that something is missing to explain why he chose to stay but then was at the ship
  • Context for Pitina Mar-Mas Voor is needed in the powers and abilities section, as it's the first place you mention her by name in the article Lewisr (talk) 16:48, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

  • There should be some mention that Posla was human in the bio rather than leaving it until the P&T
    • Makes sense, sorted.
  • Early life: The third paragraph sources Posla being a lawman to Solo
    • Don't think it matters since the first para establishes that he's a lawman with relevant sourcing.
  • The New Crew: Could some detail about Bog's motivation for hunting Evazan be included?

  • Unless I've missed it in skimming, it seems like Cornelius Evazan, Nokk, Winloss, Magna Tolvan, and Glahst Ombra's first pronoun usages can't be sourced to whatever they are currently in the prose.—spookywillowwtalk 00:22, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

      • Was just a slight thing here that I've swapped for the Nokk/Winloss scene, if that's alright. The comic has an error regarding Nokk's pronouns in the scene with Winloss but that isn't necessary to document here other than moving the referencing up a touch, I believe.—spookywillowwtalk 23:39, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
Fred strikes back
  • My only thing is the two "This article doesn't" sentences in the Bts. They're just false, as the Bts is part of the article. It would be better worded as, "This article considers such and such source to be the canonical depiction," or something of the sort.
