DFaceG
  • Subject's status as a human male should be clarified in opening sentence per precedent, before the "clone commando" bit. The sentence regarding his height can simply say "clone." DFaceG (talk) 17:21, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • The first sentence's last bit mentioning his death should be split into a different sentence. DFaceG (talk) 17:21, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • I believe we have dates for when the clone troopers started being made and stopped being made in Legends, so his birth date should be listed to at least be between those dates. DFaceG (talk) 17:37, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Addressed all. TK-462 (talk) 17:48, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Please review my copy-edit. DFaceG (talk) 18:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Thank you, looks good. TK-462 (talk) 21:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
Samonic
  • You have a redirect. (Sexes/Legends) Samonic ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol 18:04, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Fixed by DFaceG's copy-edit. TK-462 (talk) 21:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Does The Essential Guide to Warfare specify that RC-8028 was created between 32 BBY and 19 BBY? Samonic ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol 16:55, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Without personally owning the book it appears that guide states that clone troopers were created between those years, and that's all we have to go off for this article. TK-462 (talk) 03:59, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
      • The reference will have to be expanded to establish that, then. Samonic ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol 09:47, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
CC-8
  • The BTS should name the source that Two-Eight was mentioned in Commander Code-8 Hello There! 10:44, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Fixed with the new update to the page. TK-462 (talk) 03:46, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Given that RC-1309's squad is conjecturally titled, it's name shouldn't be directly linked like it is currently. Conext should be provided for RC-1309 there as well Commander Code-8 Hello There! 05:51, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Better? TK-462 (talk) 06:12, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

Comments

  • Can date of death not be pinpointed to some range? Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 20:09, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Not the nominator, but I think that would depend on whether or not we know when his training was. He could have died in service as an Imperial Commando, or it could have been Republic era. We simply don't know enough about RC-8028, unless we assumed him to be the same clone as Two-Eight, which, given the circumstances, I can both see reasoning for and reasoning against. DFaceG (talk) 20:21, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
      • Of note, this isn't the only time that book does such things. RX-4-9 would seem to have been intended as EX-4-9, while DS-75-5 seems to have been intended as DS-73-5. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 20:27, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
        • Given the source, I feel that it's too ambiguous to give a set date, as is combining Two-Eight and RC-8028. If this was a recently released piece of media we might have a chance at getting it answered, but we caught the discrepancy far too late for that sadly. TK-462 (talk) 21:11, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Please see my edit. Also, while DFaceG is correct in pointing out the precedent that a character's species and gender is specified in opening sentences, it isn't a hard and fast rule, and in fact I think sometimes articles can suffer from being so programmatic. For an article of this length, you don't need to mention "Human male" until the very last sentence since that is where the traits applicable to all clone troopers are specified. OOM 224 10:35, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Btw, you'll want to apply the changes on this article to Two-Eight. OOM 224 10:37, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
