A pair of terminology questions: is the message explicitly called a "data message"? Cause that's hella strange and redundant naming :P- Data message as opposed to an audio message; but it's not specifically called that so I'll update to just message. ThePedantry (talk) 05:33, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- What's the interface of accessing the messages? I.e., are these messages explicitly sent and received by someone, or could they just as well have been drafts?
- In the game, some messages specify the sender and/or recipient. But in this case we don't have that information. All we know is that it is on a message on a datapad in Hauler's Keep. ThePedantry (talk) 20:56, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- In that case, I believe it should say something like "composed" instead of "sent" in the article body. Imperators II(Talk) 11:19, 12 August 2025 (UTC)

And in the BTS, is the message referred to as "datapad"? If so, are there really any examples of the entity being referred to as "a" datapad? I don't suppose there is an external wiki covering the game mechanics that we could link this entity to?Imperators II(Talk) 12:56, 7 August 2025 (UTC)- I might be misunderstanding you. In the game, players read these type of messages in two ways, either by interacting with a datapad in the environment or by slicing into a data terminal. In this case, it was a datapad in the environment. ThePedantry (talk) 05:33, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- What I mean is, feels like it would make more sense to say something like "the datapad message mentioning ..." in the BTS instead of "the datapad mentioning ...". Imperators II(Talk) 10:49, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
