I believe this is a valid case where Garaf's species should be noted.Imperators II(Talk) 07:32, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Is there a reason why this article isn't located at "Hoom Garaf's T-series tactical droid"?Imperators II(Talk) 09:56, 29 April 2024 (UTC)- Given that the source text says "Major Room Garaf was executed by his tactical droid." I'd say it's better the article is located just at tactical droid and not T-Series tactical droid since the only time the droid is referred to directly its as "his tactical droid", while it being a T-Series is simply made clear by being a listed example of the t-series going rouge Fan26 (Talk) 00:23, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- Well, of course a work of prose like Warfare would use whatever phrasing fits best the flow of the text, that'd be understandable. But that's not the same thing as encyclopedia article titles, wouldn't you agree? For example, DS-1 Orbital Battle Station isn't really referred to as such in prose a lot, either. - From page 92 of The Essential Guide to Warfare: "Occasionally, tactical droids refused to take no for an answer. The Third Battle of Aefao...when the Chevin Major Room Garaf was executed by his tactical droid." Warfare doesn't outright say "Garaf and his droid had a disagreement and that was why the droid killed him" but Garaf being listed as an example of a commander killed by his tactical droid because of the droids' interpersonal issues, right on the heels of a paragraph describing how the droids didn't work well with organic commanders, means I consider it not an assumption but implicitly stated information that Garaf's execution was the result of him and his droid disagreeing.
