Regarding the date, we know it must take place after The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, since TFA establishes that R2 was in low power mode after Luke left and hasn't woken since. So the fact he active in the book means it must be after TFA, and by the fact that TLJ is directly after, there isn't really a chance that R2/C-3P0/BB-8 went on an adventure between the two (especially because R2 went with Rey to Ahch-To) Lewisr (talk) 19:47, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
