Wiston Freng was a Pantoran monopod racer. He grew up with a love for racing, and cherished racing his first starship despite its slow speed. He eventually grew to be a talented monopod racer and joined the Monopod Circuit. This gave him a level of galactic fame, as shown by the fanaticism towards Freng by racing fan Nash Durango on Tenoo before the Monopod Circuit ever visited the planet. When the Monopod Circuit finally did arrive to Tenoo, Freng invited his fan, Durango, to a tour of Pit Row and to assist in last-minute repairs of his monopod. When Freng's rival Jaj Omie sabotaged Freng's engineering droid JK-46, Freng entrusted Durango to be his engineer. The pair went on to win the Tenoo Grand Tour. Following the race, Freng gifted his new friend his racing helmet as a reminder of her proficiency and belonging.[1]
