The Waymancy system[3] was located in the Inner Rim Territories[1] and the Interior[2] in grid square K-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Waymancy system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide on a galaxy map authored by Jason Fry and Christopher Ibbitt.[1] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[4] The Waymancy system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[5]
