"The protocol droids inform me you were splendid today. I'm sure your appearance was much admired."
"Everyone saw what good work you did, TooVee. You should be proud."
―WA-2V and Leia Organa, after her Day of Demand[3]

WA-2V, also known as 2V or TooVee, was the personal attendant droid of Princess Leia Organa. She had bluish fingers, a roll ball for movement and a stiff apron that passed for her hips.[3]

She was programmed to ensure that the princess was always presented in grand style for every occasion. In keeping with this duty, she was an excellent hairstylist, able to do the princess' hair in many elaborate styles. She was also programmed to remove the princess from danger, if necessary. TooVee's programming to ensure that the princess was dressed as formally as possible often clashed with Organa's preference for dressing simple although TooVee did find pearls passé.[3]

On one occasion when Organa was a toddler TooVee had to chase after her ward who had escaped from her bath and ran naked and wet into the palace's formal dinning room during a diplomatic dinner.[3]

On another occasion, during Organa's childhood she escaped from TooVee in the palace gardens before running to her mother Queen Breha Organa who was reading a paper book, next to the astromech droid R2-D2, in front a statue of Organa's birth mother Padmé Amidala.[5]

In 3 BBY[6] TooVee helped Organa get ready for her Day of Demand, compromising with a simple white dress for Organa and bold silver jewellery for TooVee. When Organa complained, while TooVee was doing her hair in the complicated tradition style, about pulling TooVee stated that it was going to keep pulling as "Today of all days,[Organa] must look [her] best" only for Organa to respond that she said that every day. TooVee stated that it was true every day and that standards were even higher for special occasions. As Organa was about to leave for the ceremony, having heard the orchestral fanfare coming from the throne room, TooVee placed a silver headband into Organa's braids, commenting that Organa looked stunning and complimented her own work stating that she worked miracles.[3]

After the Day of Demand ceremony, as she was readying Organa's bed for her, TooVee scolded the princess to get away from her window, where Organa was watching the thunderstorm outside, stating that she could be struck by lightning and it wasn't safe. Organa argued that she wasn't going to be struck by lightning and that she liked the storm. When TooVee reminded Organa that her programming allowed her to forcibly remove Organa from any major physical risk, Organa finally relented and moved from her window seat to her bed.[3]

As TooVee organised the hairbrushes and combs on Organa's vanity table, she told Organa that the protocol droids had informed her that Organa had been splendid and that her appearance was much admired. Organa had smiled and told TooVee that everyone had seen the good work she had done and that she should be proud. TooVee, satisfied, did a half-bow before rolling out of the room.[3]

The next day, TooVee attempted to help Leia prepare for her mercy mission, one of several as part of her Challenge of the Heart, to the planet of Wobani to deliver rations to the refugees. TooVee argued for a more formal dress, stating that Organa needed to show respect for the Imperial officials on the planet, that as she was travelling as a diplomat on a humanitarian mission, she must dress herself accordingly and a princess must always be dressed for the occasion. Organa stated that she would but considering the nature of the mission, Organa argued that she didn't need to braid her hair with pearls something which upset TooVee, stating that the idea was ridiculous as pearls we so passé.[3]

TooVee was also happy when Organa returned home from a mercy mission on Onoam, one of the moons of Naboo, wearing the traditional Jubilation dress, exclaiming excitedly that it was the most beautiful gown Organa had ever worn and how Naboo was "the place" for formal wear. TooVee was disappointed to learn that Organa was only borrowing the gown and that it would need to be returned to Queen Dalné, after being washed. TooVee reassured herself, however, by stating that they had "a wonderful example to draw from" for the princess' wardrobe. Organa, who was usually amused by TooVee's obsession with fashion, grew annoyed, having just avoided being killed, and forced herself to calm herself to calm down, while asking TooVee where her parents were.[3]

TooVee also helped Organa prepare for her coronation as heir, deciding against a more colourful dress in acknowledgment of Organa's recent grief, as well as several dinner parties and banquets hosted by Leia's parents throughout the year that were actually strategy meetings.[3]

In 0 BBY,[1] while Organa was away on a mission, TooVee made arrangements for the princess' clothing at the upcoming equinox celebrations, having one of Queen Breha's old dresses altered and decorated for the princess at the queen's suggestion. However, Alderaan was destroyed before the festivities could occur.[2]

Years later, shortly after becoming engaged to Han Solo Organa remembered TooVee when she thought of all the small things she'd lost due to the destruction of Alderaan.[4]
