- "The Vosch worlds were always poor, and then their economies were hammered by the Clone Wars. I helped craft a relief bill in the Republic, but it got voted down—and of course the Emperor never cared."
- ―Mon Mothma
The Vosch Cluster was a star cluster that contained numerous worlds[2] in the Ado sector of the Mid Rim Territories.[1] Having suffered from a lack of money, the economies of the worlds in the Vosch Cluster were severely hindered in the course of the Clone Wars. Galactic Republic senator Mon Mothma attempted to craft a relief bill for the Vosch worlds, but it was voted down.[2]
Around the time of the Battle of Hoth[2] in 3 ABY,[3] a group of pirates blazed a hyperspace lane from the Vosch Cluster to the trade worlds around Caldra Prime and Caldra Tertius. A portion of the Rebel Alliance fleet that grouped between the Vosch Cluster and the trade worlds discovered the pirates, who threatened the safety of their rendezvous point. Rebel pilot Wedge Antilles presumed that the pirates had originated from the Vosch Cluster, and Mothma, then Chancellor in the Rebellion, was unsurprised due to the history of the Vosch worlds.[2]
