The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A government controlled the Virgillia system during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Backed by the Empire, this Outer Rim[3] government was overthrown by the Rebel Alliance-allied Virgillian Free Alignment, marking the end of their acrimonious civil war and an additional member state—the Virgillia system—for the New Republic.[2]

  1. ↑ According to Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Incredible Cross-Sections, the Virgillian civil war was won by the Virgillian Free Alignment against the Galactic Empire-backed government. Thus, this conflict must have taken place and been resolved by the end of Imperial rule, i.e. the Imperial Era. As Aftermath: Empire's End states that the Era ended in 5 ABY, so must the Virgillian civil war.
