Vibro-weapon

A vibro-weapon was any bladed weapon whose blade was made more dangerous by the power of a rapid augmented vibro-motor, which turned the wielder's slightest motion into a powerful and potentially lethal stroke.^[1] With those high-frequency vibrations, a blade had greater ability to sever and slash.^[2]

Types of vibro weapons included vibro-arbir blades,^[3] vibro-axes,^[4] vibrobayonets,^[5] vibroblades,^[6] vibrodaggers,^[7] vibro-knives,^[8] vibro-lances,^[9] vibroswords,^[10] vibro-voulges,^[3] vibrocleavers,^[11] and vibro-machetes.^[12]

An SP-B50 blaster rifle was a mixture of a blaster and a vibro-active force blade.^[13]
