A vibroknife,[2] also styled as vibro-knife,[3] was a type of knife featuring a small, vibrating blade that hummed when activated.[2] Those vibrations occurred at a high-frequency and greatly improved on the blade's ability to slash at enemies or sever things.[4] It was capable of cutting through metal materials, including droids and stuncuffs.

After the Galactic Civil War, the bounty hunter Mandalorian Din Djarin wielded a vibro-knife as a close range weapon on multiple occasions.[5] Lieutenant Weel of the First Order Security Bureau used a vibro-knife to interrogate Suralinda Javos, though she bested him and used the knife first to escape her bonds then rescue Poe Dameron from a squad of stormtroopers.[6] Devi carried a vibro-knife while scavenging on Jakku.[7]
