Vargos 9,[3] also known as Vargos Nine, was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the Vargos system of the Mortex sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It was located in grid square R-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Around 33 ABY, during her search for Sith relics, the archaeologist Mika Grey encountered a group of First Order Raiders on Vargos 9,[2] who also sought relics for their Supreme Leader, Kylo Ren.[4] In 34 ABY,[2] Grey believed she had eluded their pursuit on Vargos 9 until encountering the First Order troopers on the planet[3] Ashas Ree, where they had tracked her.[2]

Behind the scenes

Vargos 9 was first mentioned in "The Relic Raiders," the seventh episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance,[3] which aired on November 17, 2019.[5] It was later identified in the 2023 release of Star Wars: Timelines as "Vargos Nine."[2]
