New Canon in your timeline

Hey Tainb, first of all great work with the timeline. Regarding your new modifications considering the new canon announcements, I noticed you placed there The Clone Wars: Darth Maul: Shadow Conspiracy with a Jennifer Heddler reference. I just wanted to let you know that she's actually referring to the incoming comic series Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir while the Shadow Conspiracy novel falls only within Legends and with nothing yet pointing to otherwise. You've also listed the film junior and regular novels and there's still no confirmation on any of that either. Just letting you know, mate. Winterz (talk) 19:07, May 1, 2014 (UTC)

I was being a little inclusionary based on the vague information we have. I added Shadow Conspiracy because Heddle's rationale for Son of Dathomir was that it was based on TCW scripts. Shadow Conspiracy is just the novelization of 4 episodes from Season 5 of TCW, and fits the criteria until proven otherwise.
I based the addition of the novelizations on the Del Rey tweet that said they are canon [1]. I saw Heddle's tweet that they are canon where they line up with the movies, and how some have interpreted that to mean they are not canon. But there have always been discrepancies (blue yoda) and the novelizations have always been considered canon previously, so until we have something that excludes them, I think they belong. - I've informed myself further in this matter and apparently there's this post rather confirming that anything extra in the novels isn't canon so there's really just the movies. As for Shadow Conspiracy, they had already said that the only canon were the new products under their domain, the 6 movies and Filoni's TCW series.   - Per this discussion, we don't have a consensus on what exactly that tweet means. It's not a huge deal to me, but until we have a source that clarifies the distinction, I'm not going to remove any of the novelizations. Shadow Conspiracy is on shakier grounds as it hasn't been explicitly mentioned, but it is the novelization of Season 5 Episodes 1,14-16 of TCW, and Heddle's tweets point to works based on TCW Episodes/scripts being canon. RE: TCW timeline edits

I don't know if you say my reply on my talk page. I just copied and pasted: "Sorry about the summary, I smashed the "Save" button before I could explain. Wild Space and The Essential Reader's Companion, while at least one of those being non-canon, places the pre-time jump in 22 BBY. The dates for Season Six are a little trickier. In Labyrinth of Evil the Jedi do not know who Tyranus is. However in Season Six they learn that the clones are part of a greater Sith conspiracy and learn Dooku is Tyranus. I think its a bit messy to try list all the different adaptations in the order and prefer to keep it all consistent from how other films adaptations are listed, I see no real harm in how we're currently listing things --Lewisr (talk) 00:29, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

Smuggler's Run

A status page like TX-828 lists the German version of the comic rather than the English translated issues because it is the original, so if we're only going to list one I tend to think we should go with the original Lewisr (talk) 17:27, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
