Per Wookieepedia:Notability of fan projects#Additional notes, one fan project, one article. Smuggler's Gambit is a fan project, no matter how much recognition it may get. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:09, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- How can you say for sure it's a fan project? Stake black msg 01:12, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- (Seriously, it's obnoxious to move discussions away from where they start. Reply here.) Asking how you can say it's a fan project is like asking how you can say there's not a Flying Spaghetti Monster controlling the universe. Officialness needs positive confirmation. Anyway, try reading the other articles on the StarWars.com blog about it. http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php/tag/smugglers-gambit/ And Kyle Newman = not a Lucasfilm employee. The articles are being deleted per policy, and you will not recreate them unless you get explicit confirmation from someone at Lucasfilm that it IS official. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:21, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- I suppose I never even thought it could be a just fan project. Insider 139 apparently did an article on it. Are you a subscriber? They probably clarify this there. Stake black msg 01:29, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- It's actually an interesting situation, one that requires clarification. The two principals, Newman and FJ DeSanto, are in no way Lucasfilm employees, but they took it to Mary Franklin and pulled together an all-star cast. However, she's the events coordinator and runs Bantha Tracks and blog stuff, nothing to do with licensing or canon. I'm trying to get my hands on the Insider article now to see if it gives the thing any kind of official standing, but as it is, it doesn't seem to be any more official than any other fan presentation on the Celebration stage. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:44, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- One thing that drew my attention is that Lucasfilm not only republished it in their official website, but they also actively worked on it with the sound effects. Stake black msg 01:48, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- As someone who owns Insider 139, I thought I'd help you guys solve it's canonocity. On page 28 it specifically notes that Star Wars: Smuggler's Cambit is fan fiction and is not part of the official Star Wars canon. DarthRevan1173

GAN limit
Hey Stake, I need to let you know that on the GAN page users are restricted to four nominations at one time, (this rule can be viewed in the how to nominate section on the GAN page) and you currently have 6 articles nominated for GA status. You will have to either ask an AC member on their talk page to archive two of your noms or ask for the noms to be archived on the nominations page. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but its the rules. See ya. Commander Code-8 G'day, mate 08:36, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Per the GAN rules, only members of the Agricorps can archive them. I'd do it but I'm not an Agricorporal. Your best best would be to ask an AC member. Menkooroo (talk) 16:12, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, Stake and CC, as far as I know it's fine to just leave the GANs there. That's what happened when I went over the limit the first time; just make sure you don't nominate any more until you've dropped below 4. Cade Calrayn
19:43, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, Cade. I had already contacted IFYLOFD, though. Let's see what his response will be. Stake black msg 19:59, February 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Don't worry about the GAN limit, just keep the noms on there and wait to add any more. Although the GAN limit is a rule I personally disagree with, it's still there for the time being. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 00:16, February 19, 2013 (UTC)

Lambgrams22
Administrator: I was browsing the pages and found the page "Unidentified Clone Trooper(cato nemodiana" and after reading it, it was about a Clone Trooper that did not exsist, the spelling and grammer was poor and it stated he was the second most honorable clone trooper ever. There were no sources, no links and only about a sentence of information. This page must be removed, it is, in my opinion, a disgrace to Wookieepedia. —Unsigned comment by Lambgrams22 (talk • contribs)
Star Tours
Just posted a comment on Menk's talk page and caught your comment. Thought I'd put in my two cents. Hope you don't mind. The indirect reference to Hoth could probably be attributed to the destruction of Gamma Base which occurred around 0 BBY. What do you think? Vader would still be using the Devastator at this time also. Rokkur Shen (talk)
- Yeah, I agree with Rokkur on this one. We can thank the Expanded Universe for giving us such things as this. :P Menkooroo (talk) 04:10, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- So that would place ST in 0 BBY, no? Stake black msg 04:57, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- As regards the precise dating of Star Tours, here's what I originally post on Savagebob's talk page: "It is now pretty clear that the events of the ride must happen after the liberation of Gial Ackbar and the acquisition of the key to the Massassi Station, which are both set in 1 BBY. However, there is a depiction of Imperials and Rebels fighting on Hoth during the ride, which seems problematic at first. I discovered there was a lesser-known "Battle of Hoth", which took place early in 0 BBY. This would set the events of Star Tours II in 35:3, which means very shortly before A New Hope." --LelalMekha (talk) 10:16, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Should we update {{STAC date}}, then? Stake black msg 12:41, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- The part about the battle of Hoth remains too speculative, but the thing about Ackbar and the Massassi temple is undeniable. --LelalMekha (talk) 12:46, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

Kellogg's alien
I noticed you added Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas as a source for the sketch by Cobb. Was there any other info in this book related to this individual? Or was it just the picture? Rokkur Shen (talk) 13:57, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. If anything it at least backs up the calendar's legitimacy. Rokkur Shen (talk) 14:19, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Oh and the image here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Party_guests.png The sketch of the gotal also appears in the calendar in color and is also attributed to Ron Cobb. I don't think the Duro's appears in the calendar but likely that it was Ron Cobb as well judging by the line work. Rokkur Shen (talk) 14:27, February 24, 2013 (UTC)

I'd probably mention the claims of "all galaxies" and stuff to Behind the Scenes. The New Essential Chronology is a pretty good go-to source for claims like the Empire being the dominant power in the galaxy. Menkooroo (talk) 13:15, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

Inside the Worlds of SW Episode I
Hey Stake! Don't you happen to own a copy of Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Episode I? I just decided to work on the Nabooian Elders article, but I'm facing a problem here. Everywhere I look, it says that the dates 7,032 BBY and 5,032 BBY come from Inside the Worlds. The thing is that I've been checking the book several times (a French version), but I can't seem to find anything like that. Just mentions of "millennia ago." This is quite confusing. --LelalMekha (talk) 16:57, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Apparently you're facing the same problem as I do. I read the whole Naboo section trying to find those dates, but they are nowhere to be seen. And the only reference to millennia I could see is a sentence which says that the Gungan were driven underwater "thousands of years ago." Darnit. If those dates do not come from that book, where on Earth do they come from? --LelalMekha (talk) 19:52, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Page 7 of my French edition, apparently. Then the Elders are mentioned on pages 8-9, but no date on sight. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:07, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Alas, poor Yorick! Thanks for trying, Stake! ;) I'm going to search other sources. I don't suppose somebody came up with those dates, so they must have been lifted from a book. --LelalMekha (talk) 21:27, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Dobbis
Here you are: "The main Gungan deity is Oma-Oma, creator of all life on Naboo. She rules over the other Gungan gods, which is why she is often awarded the title of "Boss." Like any other Gungan chief, Oma-Oma makes decisions only after consulting the other great gods. Faithful to her mission of giving life on Naboo, Oma-Oma oversees the actions of important gods of nature, such as Gobba (god of spring water) and Dobbis (goddess of rain).
The only god over whom Oma-Oma has no authority is Mekamok, god of destruction. Although he too lives in Ossorus, his peers avoid him—" Please note that Oma-Oma is female in French, which seems to contradict our article on the subject. --LelalMekha (talk) 19:37, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

CAN votes
Just FYI, it's not that I'm forgetting to add my Support votes to your CANs. I just saw that one of the How To Vote instructions (#4) states: "Within a 48-hour period of nomination, only EduCorps votes will count towards the total, although anyone may choose to vote in that window." I don't know how hard and fast these 'rules' are held to, and since I'm new to checking peoples' CANs I thought I'd play it safe by taking the 'letter of the law' approach. =) — DigiFluid(Whine here) 16:50, February 27, 2013 (UTC)

Air Alderaan et al.
Hey Stake. From what JMM discovered in this video, it seems that Air Alderaan and the others are in fact other spacelines, which are all part of the Galactic Tourist Bureau. It contradicts the statement that only Star Tours flew the StarSpeeder 1000s, though... --LelalMekha (talk) 10:13, May 1, 2013 (UTC)
- Not knowing what to do, I edited the StarSpeeder 1000 article to make it say that several spacelines used that model while ST still claimed to enjoy exclusive use of it. --LelalMekha (talk) 14:54, May 1, 2013 (UTC)

In the episode, R2-D2's data read
"ABAFAR" (headline)
"LARGE DESERT
CLIMATE: DRY: [sic]
VEGETATION: NONE
POSSIBLE SETTLEMENTS"
(Curiously, the colons are from the High Galactic alphabet and not Aurebesh.)
The rest of the hologram (the left side) is unreadable in the episode, but the picture from the episode guide says
"ABAFAR
SURFACE AREA: 580 025 700
LAND AREA: 14 11 000
SEA AREA: 80 40 000
POPULATION: UNKNOWN
EQUATORIAL DISTANCE: 1625856
POLAR DIAMETER: 12 11 714
LOWEST POINT: 850 M BELOW SEA LEVEL.
DEEPEST POINT IN PLANET : 44585. 25648"
(The punctuation mark and the colons are High Galactic.)

I don't think we can say they are native to Tatooine just from the guide book either. RE:Bounty Hunter question
- Hi Nick. When battling Longo you fight him until his health bar reaches zero and he keels over. At this point it cuts immediately to a scene with Jango and Jabba discussing payment and the Bando Gora. There's a pretty good youtube video of the whole encounter and cut scene here [1]. I'm not sure this is really a confirmation of his death as games often have you battle an enemy to zero health only for them to stop fighting but not die, which I'm pretty sure is what Montross always does in BH until his last fight. Looking at the Encyclopaedia and article in Star Wars Gamer there isn't any confirmation their either. The only other place I can think of looking is the Game Guide, which I know SavageBob has access to. Hope that's of some help to you! Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:31, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
- Glad to be of service! Good luck with the Lomrokk article, which what I assume your writing up, given the concept art image upload. :P Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:47, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
Ziss-fly
I noticed you wrote the Ziss-fly article. I currently recategorizing all weapons in the Category:Weapons and into their proper sub-categories. Do you know if this weapon was a Projectile weapon?--Richterbelmont10 (talk) 17:10, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Great stuff! Thanks.--Richterbelmont10 (talk) 18:12, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
Oowor
Hi! Need your help again. I'm having trouble finding the Oowor in the Galactic Campaign Guide. Do you know if this was a pistol, rifle, or melee weapon of some sort?--Richterbelmont10 (talk) 18:34, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll leave a message on the weapon's talk page. Thanks.--Richterbelmont10 (talk) 18:39, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
Canon page
Hi Stake. I'm afraid we disagree on this issue. Looking at the history I see multiple cases of having to undo edits made to the canon page which attempt to alter the tone and information of the page. In the case of the canon page, which really underlies our entire canon policy and in effect serves that purpose itself in any case, any attempt to alter the information could have a knock-on effect on articles and information if not caught. If you look at the protection note, I do not say edit-warring at all; rather that it is being protected to avoid misinformation being added to a vital page. The protection was not a knee-jerk reaction to the latest edits, but one I feel has been needed for a while. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 07:45, July 30, 2013 (UTC)
I have come to hear your news
Hello my friend. How are you doing? It's been a while since we last talked and/or collaborated on something. :-) --LelalMekha (talk) 23:02, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
FFG images and your changes
I appreciate your attempts to help improve the quality of the Wookieepedia. However, your recent changes have created some problems. Just so you know, unless a valid source states that a structure that belongs to a character is specifically named as such by in-universe characters or OOU narrative, then the designation is conjectural—see Durga's palace and Gorga's palace for precedents specifically pertaining to a Hutt palaces. Your movement of the Teemo's palace article now not only orphans links, but makes it imposible to revert without an admin getting involved. Also, the two images that you say are the same are, in fact, not. One is a labelled diagram while the other is unlabelled layout. However, if you have any more images that I have uploaded that you feel are duplicates, please let me know and I will check them. —GethralkinHyperwave 21:14, August 21, 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, that's cool. I see that several differences in the labeling of Palace and palace created the inconsistency that resulted in the confusion. Still, I can't fix it and need to refer to an admin because the edit summaries have to move with the article. —GethralkinHyperwave 19:38, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
- Let me know if I missed anything, though. I don't want to pop in any duplicates. —GethralkinHyperwave 19:40, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
Re: Barraak
Thank you for pointing that out, pal. I can be such an awful typer, sometimes... -___- --LelalMekha (talk) 17:31, August 27, 2013 (UTC)
Tiny Death Star
Hey Stake I noticed your making articles for some of the Bitizen models in Tiny Death Star (a game I to am addicted to). I'm not sure these roles require their own separate articles as for example there are already Imperial Helmsman in cannon like Bachenkall, and his status article simply links him to Helmsman, which is already a pretty Imperial themed page. I would suggest merging these articles with their non-faction specific counter parts. Otherwise good work on the other Tiny Death Star articles, like the lifts! Ayrehead02 (talk) 20:12, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
- Huh I'd never seen the Rebel pilot page before, I guess that's a fair counter precedent. I guess this is a bigger issue than just your new articles and would probably require a CT or something. I might bring it up at some point soon on the forums but feel free to take the merge template off of the helmsman page for now if you like. Ayrehead02 (talk) 20:53, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
Years
Took me a bit, but they should be working properly now. Cade Calrayn 20:44, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
Re: Mines
Hey Stake black, thank you for your remark, this is what I thought also. The mine on the picture looked suspiciously like those in Jedi Academy, but I haven't posted it on the laser trip mine page because there is no room. Maguinic (talk) 19:56, November 27, 2013 (UTC)
RE: Racer Revenge images
Actually, many of the images I've been using are simply modified versions of the existing images on the site. Some of the new images I've added are taken from a strategy guide, which I'm capping with, of all things, a camera. I've been looking too get a device that will allow me to take screenshots of console games, including RR, but oddly the game doesn't seem to work well anymore, despite being very clean. Might need a new console, so all in due time perhaps. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 00:55, November 30, 2013 (UTC)
Re: Medal
Thank you, my friend. By chance, do you happen to know how we're supposed to cite SW Instagram? --LelalMekha (talk) 00:02, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
Your template concept
Please do not use the article namespace for testing out concepts. In addition, please use your userspace for templates-in-testing so as to keep the template namespace for official and approved templates only. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 23:55, January 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Hm, okay, I wasn't aware of that template. However, I'd like to see the usage being discussed in the SH first before it can be applied site-wide. Personally I don't really see a need for multiple images except for in very specific cases such as in Jedi Credit. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 00:14, January 28, 2014 (UTC)
Re:File:Zafiro.JPG
No, unfortunately, I don't. Perhaps the artist simply made it up? --Nightlily (talk) 20:57, February 5, 2014 (UTC)
Fan sites CT
The TC on the List of fan sites article has been moved to a Consensus track thread due to being mentioned in a policy. Feel free to adjust your vote according to the new points and options introduced. MasterFred(Whatever) 17:14, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Cell block 121811
Hi Stake black, about one year ago you added Cell block 121811 to the Appeareances list of The Jedi Who Knew Too Much. Is there any source for the number of this cell block? In the episode and episode guide I couldn't find specifications for it. --Lorenzoni (talk) 23:47, February 13, 2014 (UTC)
- OK, I see now. How could I miss that? ;-)
- But what I found out: The cell which held Letta and later Ahsoka is called "Cell 173" (Is said during Letta is strangled). --Lorenzoni (talk) 13:41, February 14, 2014 (UTC)
Re: Hyperspace content
You're right about that: the Internet Archive did not store that info. However, some pictures that originated on Hyperspace are still floating around on other websites... While Wookieepedia did respect the restriction on Hyperspace content when it was still online, not everyone did. --Lelal Mekha (Audience Room) 14:36, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
RE:Trampoline
Hi! Yeah I definitely remember seeing someone mention a trampoline on the HoloNet Feed. It was a while back so I can't claim to be sure exactly what they said, but it was something like "just moved into a new place hope I can fit my trampoline in here." or something like that. I'm afraid I deleted the game quite a while ago so I can't look out for it coming up again. If you want to remove it from the appearances feel free, I guess I might of imagined it or something. Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:50, February 22, 2014 (UTC)
Re: Aurebesh
No problem! I've added a translation to the image description. --Nightlily (talk) 20:51, March 12, 2014 (UTC)
- You're welcome :-)
Thanks
Thanks I appreciate the offer! You're the first friendly person I've met on this wikia. Unfortunately I'm really not interested in signing up as I've had too many negative experiences with established users instantaneously reverting valid edits from myself and other users. 58.164.143.57 04:48, March 13, 2014 (UTC)
Casus Belli 103
Hey Stake; I see you uploaded File:Vtrorentara.png a while back. Does this mean you have access to Casus Belli 103 by any chance? - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 21:07, March 16, 2014 (UTC)
- Google came up dry, and torrenting is difficult in the UK these days as most ISPs actively ban torrent sites now. It appears Lelal may have the info, though, so hopefully I can grab the info. Cheers for the response. - Sir Cavalier of One

Onderon
"So—are you still worried about being sent to the Agricultural Corps?" Mission to Onderon (Galactic Civil War) has been approved by the AgriCorps and awarded Good status. Feel free to add the {{User GA}} template to your userpage to acknowledge your hard work. Jedi Starfighter Screenshots
Just wanted to let you know that if you enter NOHUD into the cheat menu for Star Wars: Starfighter or Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, it turns off the HUD. It's a little wonky in Starfighter, (the HUD reactivates if there's a mid-mission cutscene) but it's pretty handy if you want to take screenshots. You might also get lucky toying around with the DIRECTOR cheat, that's how I got this shot! SinisterSamurai (talk) 07:02, April 4, 2014 (UTC)
Earthcote
Sorry, I made a typo. The correct spelling is Earthcote River. Thanks for pointing that out. Andykatib 23:02, 7th April 2014 (UTC)
