Mary Franklin is the former Sr. Events Lead for Lucasfilm, a position in which she coordinated various marketing and promotional events for the company, including Star Wars Celebration, the yearly E3 Expo, Licensing Show, and San Diego Comic-Con International. Franklin worked for Lucasfilm from 2001 to 2015, when she joined ReedPOP, a company that runs pop culture conventions worldwide and a Lucasfilm licensee with whom Franklin has worked with on Star Wars Celebration, as its global event director.
Franklin is the former editor of Bantha Tracks, a Star Wars Insider magazine department focusing on Star Wars fans. Her run ended with issue 157, after which editorial duties passed to author Pete Vilmur.
