Vandar's High Council Picture

Master Vandar looks very much "on-edge" the picture of him seated, as a hologram, on the High Council. What was he saying, or being discussed in general, to cause him to look so disgruntled?--Master Dakari 03:02, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Juhani Romance

I was the one who made the changes to Revan's page and added the paragraph on Juhani's romamce option. While I realize the SW databank states that this romance option is available to both genders, this was a mistake, not a re-write of her character. The game file indisputably proves that Juhani is a lesbian, the romance lines were set to trigger only when speaking to a female Revan. I appreciate everyone's dedication to canon sources, but this was just a mistake, not an intentional change. For that matter the SW databank states that Juhani actually killed her Master Quatra, when anyone who plays the game knows this isn't true. Please consider that and change it back to the way I had it before. Master Kavar

        1. So you'll know for the future, #because I just now noticed that it was you who did it, and because it was I who had to go through all the characters and redo them. And also promotional art is frowned upon because it is not as 'real' as in-game/movie/etc, although covers obviously don't apply.     • Under our image use policy, most photos and screenshots should be in the JPEG format. Symbol, icons, and maps should be uploaded as SVGs; that failing, as PNGs (because of scalability, I believe). RMF 04:59, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
      • First of all, SVG uploading is disabled. Even if it wasn't, there isn't any sense in converting bitmaps to SVG. SVG is for vector graphics that you drew yourself (in Inkscape, for example) or graphics that were already in this format. In general, images with "natural" colors should be uploaded as JPEGs (this includes photos and screenshots), while images with sharp borders and few colors should be uploaded as PNGs. - Sikon [Talk] 05:32, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
        • SVG uploading is enabled, though I haven't had much luck with MediaWiki's rasterization process. And there are scalability benefits to vectorizing BMPs; I tried with several of the government symbols and the result is far superior. My problem now is figuring out why MediaWiki won't convert the files properly: File:Sith Empire symbol.svg shows up as blank, but if you actually view the file you'll see it is fine (though you will need a plug-in or some other sort of SVG viewer; most browsers don't have built-in support). Clean

    • Can you tell me which images your referring to? I've cleaned alot of images. And the only images I've scanned are the KOTOR 2 promos from the little manual with the game. The image was all grained so, I opened it in photoshop, duplicate the layers, change the new layers settings like overlay and such though I have to warn you that the faces may come out red and in weird colors so you'd have to turn the opacity down. Resize it. If the resizing didn't fix all the grains then use the smudge tool to clean the areas. Finally, adjust it with shadows/highlights and brightness/contrast. Wouldn't hurt to add raise the saturation a bit. --Redemption 20:31, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Just a minute. Since I am a newbie I am confused. Why people say male Revan is Canon? In Kotor2 the Exile talks with Carth Onasi and Carth says Revan is his lover. Then why Canon states that Revan is a male? Or is Kotor2 not canon?

Maybe I may be a little self-righteous, but I believe that that Wolfdog dude may have been justified in his anger. I love sarcasm just as much as the next guy, but in a community such as Wookieepedia, maybe we should just point at where the other is wrong, such as where Redemption sorta did with me, and leave at that, not lower the other person's self esteem, which is what happened in Wolfdog's case. I also want to point out to you, Redemption, that maybe not in the all-powerful Redemption's mind, but in mine, that a book about Star Wars history, is more important than one about droids. Varko image

While he definitly could use an image, you chose the wrong guy. The one you see on the Star Forge is called "Sith Master". There is a cutscene that I think occurs when you enter the Temple of the Ancients, and Varko's the guy who sees Malak without his jaw. I'd take the shot, but I can't get any with good lighting.
