Happy New Years, Jon! Could you perform a copy-edit and review for him, please? Thanks.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:02, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
Done. Objection:
"He eventually rose to the rank of general and also became the commander of the 501st Legion of stormtroopers, an elite squadron whose history dated back to the Clone Wars, a pan-galactic conflict that occurred more than a century prior to the Sith–Imperial War.": Is the last part of the sentence really necessary here? For one, the Clone Wars is something that pretty much everyone should know what they are and thus shouldn't need context. Two, you're contextifying context, and I seem to recall seeing something on FAN or GAN a while back that that wasn't necessary, though I could be mistaken. Unless you have a reason for it, I would recommend cutting everything after "Clone Wars", possibly keeping "more than a century prior".- Please try it.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 16:26, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
And that's it. Currently sits at 1,131 words. Let me know if you have any questions. Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 20:45, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

Ethan Adare
Hey Jon, could you please perform a copy-edit & review for the article? Thanks in advance, think it's gonna be a GA, though.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 03:43, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
Done. Objections:
Context for the Imperial Mission is needed in both the intro and the bio."Most Imperial missionaries dedicated their lives to bringing peace and assistance to the desolate planets of the galaxy. Members of the Imperial Mission also believed that the Empire's doctrine of order and obedience would lead to the end of conflict, and they served on a voluntary basis.": Do we know for sure that these things are true about Ethan Adare specifically? If so, please reword it to say so; if not, then this should probably be removed.- Please try both.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 01:46, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
Otherwise, nice job. Let me know if you have any questions. Master Jonathan 20px (Jedi Council Chambers) 21:43, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

KOTOR 23: Slyssk
Hey MJ, apparently there's some info/mention of Slyssk in The Adjudicator Special Report: The Colonies (KOTOR #23). I've tried my usual methods of getting info and they failed so I came to you. Please could you have a look at some point and tell me what info there is pertaining to him in there, if any? Thanks in advance, NAYAYEN—it appears to be a frammistat 21:32, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
- He's mentioned in a list of hot bounties. Here's the info:

Anakin image
Hi there. I see you reverted two images I uploaded. For the shot of Vader and Anakin, fair enough, the one I uploaded was totally different and should have a different name. I just thought the lightsabers looked really weird in the one that was there. However, I do think my image of Anakin's force ghost was preferable. Your reasoning for reverting was that the original version is brighter and higher-resolution; however, I feel that, quite frankly, the original version is very creepy and in no way looks like someone who has just been "redeemed". It looks like Anakin is deciding who he wants to decapitate. Just my two cents :-) --The Traveller 08:26, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
- I really don't have a preference between the two as far as which one is "less creepy". However, whatever pose you select, it needs to be bright enough that readers can easily see Anakin's features, especially at reduced size in articles; I felt that your version wasn't bright enough for this and that it was a little difficult to make out his features in an article. Also, it's widely considered a major no-no to upload a new version of a file with significantly reduced resolution like you did. You should get the image from an HD version of the film; if you don't know how to or can't do that, try contacting Darth Culator. If you can take care of the brightness and resolution issues, then I would have no objection to you re-uploading your version, though that doesn't mean someone else won't take objection to it. :) Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Saturday, February 12, 2011, 19:15 UTC
Timestamp
Hi! How did you get your timestamp to not use the default "21:30, February 24, 2011 (UTC)"? Sorry if I sound rude just barging over here and asking a random question, it's just that I have been trying to find the link on how to do that like forever!
◊ ANR0328 ◊ 21:30, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
- The timestamp in my signature is manually built in to my signature using the #time ParserFunction, which allows you to format a date and time just about any way you want to. You can see the code for my signature here. On a side note, please bring your signature in line with our signature policy, which requires signature templates to be substituted, as I have done to your signature above. Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Thursday, February 24, 2011, 22:58 UTC
- Thank you! This really helped me! : ) ANR0328 ♦ 2/25/11 - 01:20 (UTC)
- Sorry... to bother... you... again. I substitued it now... I am so sorry. LOL! I thought it was substituted but the whole time I was just putting the regular code! Sorry 'bout that! May the force be with you! ANR0328 ♦ 2/25/11 - 02:25 (UTC)
- No problem. I was actually typing out a warning that it was still not substituted, but your message that it was fixed gave me an edit conflict, so now I'll just discard the warning. :) May the Force be with you too! Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Friday, February 25, 2011, 02:30 UTC
The Uncertain Path
Good point that it doesn't specifically say Taun and Nena were members of the Young advisory council. Thanks for cleaning up my mistake! —Xwing328(Talk) 05:40, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. The issue caught my eye because I had GAed the advisory council back in 2009 and thus had gone through the whole book to see who the explicitly named council members were, and I remember trying to decide if those two should be included. :) Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Wednesday, March 2, 2011, 05:56 UTC

Insider 114
Hey Jonathan. I seem to be missing some info on Cad Bane from
"Ask Cad Bane" — Star Wars Insider 114. If possible, do you think you could get any relevant info on him to me? I know that it's basically an expanded version of the "Ask Lobot" feature, but I'd like to check if there's anything new. Also, out of curiosity, what exactly does it say about the Clone Wars timeline? Thanks in advance. CC7567 (talk) 08:06, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Alright, here goes. Though it's based off of the Ask Lobot regular feature, what the article actually is a list and descriptions of the 10 most irreconcilable continuity errors in Star Wars "hosted" by Cad Bane. The article doesn't actually contain any IU material about Cad Bane. Here's the excerpts relevant to what you asked for:
| Source: |
Attribution: Leland Chee |
| Introduction to the article:
As you requested, I, Cad Bane, have infiltrated the vault of the Jedi Temple Archives on a mission to access Lucasfilm's Holocron database, where all the secrets of Star Wars continuity are stored. After deactivating that borg-brain, Lobot, it was easy for me to "persuade" that know-it-all Jedi custodian of the Holocron to open it so that I may possess its secrets. [...] 1: Dates on the original Clone Wars timeline For 25 years, fans could only imagine what the Clone Wars could be like since the era was previously off-limits to the EU. With the release of Attack of the Clones, the floodgates to tell Clone Wars stories were thrown open. To help track the myriad stories told in video games, books, online, and even an animated micro-series, Lucas Licensing developed an elaborate timeline, complete with months, and assigned to it each story to ensure the tales fit together in a single, cohesive narrative. But as the current Star Wars: The Clone Wars weekly animated series developed, adhering to the dates on the existing timeline proved overly confining to the stories George Lucas and the folks at Lucasfilm Animation wished to tell. When the end of the series is in sight a new timeline will be created to encompass both the events of series and of all the previous EU material. It has been a pleasure doing business with you. And now I must take leave with the rest of the Holocron's secrets before the Jedi come looking for me. I bid you a most respectful farewell. CAD BANE WAS ASSISTED ON THIS MISSION BY LELAND Y. OOU Rewamp
Hey Jon, good to see you again. Thanks with the help on Bts sections of the OOUs. I've been talking with Menkooroo recently, and we've decided that all promoted OOUs, even the smaller GA ones, will likely need a Main Character section. Menkooroo is going to repurpose an OOU layout guide soon that has Main Character sections required for OOUs, so if you have a chance, could you put one in for Imprint? Kilson 00:35, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll try to do one within the next few days, if not tonight. Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Monday, March 14, 2011, 01:51 UTC
About Kime Enanrum
Hi there. I noticed that you own a copy of The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. Could you check what it tells about this guy? Thanks. Kreivi Wolter 15:01, March 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Posted at Forum:Entry requests#Kime Enanrum. In the future, you can file CSWE requests on that page, as multiple people patrol that page, and it saves you the trouble of having to track down somebody with the CSWE. It also helps (slightly) improve our shaky fair use claim by centralizing all entries in one place where there is a disclaimer at the top of the page, as opposed to having them floating all over the place. :) Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Wednesday, March 16, 2011, 20:42 UTC
- Thank you very much for pointing that out. Cheers Kreivi Wolter 12:38, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

- No problem. That's a common mistake by newbies; even I made that error once. At any rate, I've clarified it in the comment at the top of the template code to help reduce the chances of it occurring again. :) Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Thursday, March 17, 2011, 21:22 UTC
Pantheon
Hey Jon, just letting you know that while SW.com says "two thousand years" after they crashed (which would indeed be 3,000 BBY), I think that's an exaggeration, as this Facebook post says 3,650 BBY. I'm not sure how to source that, but that's much more specific than the date SW.com gives. We may just have to wait until the book is released, but I thought I'd let you know why the article said that to begin with. Thanks!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 22:37, March 18, 2011 (UTC)
- I suspect that the Facebook post is simply using the "date category" given in the timeline in the front matter of the Knight Errant novel in an attempt to avoid giving spoilers. In particular, note that if you back out to view the whole album, which is meant to show all Del Rey material in IU chronological order, Pantheon (date claimed to be 3,650 BBY) is listed after Red Harvest (date known to be 3,645 BBY, or five years later than the date claimed for Pantheon). Therefore, either they put it in the wrong spot in the album, or (as I suspect) Pantheon takes place after Red Harvest (which is supported by the timeline in Knight Errant) and the SW.com blurb is more accurate. Also, publisher's summaries, though they are often flowery, usually don't exaggerate dates; they may round, but 3,650 BBY hardly rounds to 2,000 years after 5,000 BBY (it's only 1,350). All of that being said, yes, we'll have to wait for it to be released to get the exact date, but based on what I've laid out above, I find the SW.com blurb date to be more believable. Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Friday, March 18, 2011, 22:51 UTC
- Yeah, that all makes sense. Guess we'll wait and see. Thanks!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 01:58, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
Heavy Munitions Cruiser
Hey Jonathan, since I know you have access to TCSWE, could you please check whether the Heavy Munitions Cruiser is really capitalized? Because it isn't in the Rogue Planet. Thanks in advance. Imperators II 20:59, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

Mofference Agenda
Per Wookieepedia:Mofferences, added at a previous Mofference: "Discussion of Agenda items is to be held at the Mofference itself, with the exception of procedural comments by administrators and affected users. Comments added to Agenda items will likely be reverted by administration." You can get your bit in at the Mofference; it is not fair to other users to try and make your views heard on the subject before they even enter the meeting. I'd appreciate if you were on board with this, MJ. Thanks. Graestan(Talk) 04:56, March 21, 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't discuss agenda items. I simply listed two proposals, then added a third as kind of a subproposal to the second. If anybody engaged in discussion, it was Tope by commenting on the third proposal. Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Monday, March 21, 2011, 05:15 UTC
Battlefront III
Hey I was able to get some information on SWBf III please send me a message because i feel that an admin should know and update Wookieepedia. Thank you. Metalbro82 —Unsigned comment by Metalbro82 (talk • contribs)
- Ordinarily, I would suggest jsut adding the information yourself, but as the Battlefront III article was redirected and protected, you'll have to deal with an admin, which I am not. The admin who protected the redirect has since resigned from the position, so I would suggest leaving a message on the administrator's noticeboard with your info. Note that the info will have to be independently verifiable by reliable sources for you to have any chance of getting it unprotected. Also, please note that new messages belong at the bottom of talk pages, not at the top, and please sign your comments with

500,000 BBY in "Ultimate Adversaries"
Hey Jonathan! Since you seem to have access to the Ultimate Adversaries reference book, could you please check whether there's any mention of 500,000 BBY? It's probably something about Gungans fighting woolly veermoks, as can be seen on the date article. Thanks! Imperators II(Talk) 16:26, March 25, 2011 (UTC)
- The only thing I can find is this sentence from the "Woolly Veermok" entry on page 128: "The Gungans have legends that tell of heroic battles against hordes of the beasts, and xenologists believe these legends may have originated when Naboo underwent an ice age hundreds of thousands of years ago." 37th Detachment
Greeting Master Jonathan! I apologize for making a CSWE request here, but it seems you haven't noticed my asnwer regarding the 37th Detachment on the CSWE request forum. According to the article of TCSWE, there is an entry for the 37th in Volume III, under section T. Darth Morrt 11:16, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

Signature
Hi, I noticed that you have changed your signature, interesting design. (: I'm just worried that there's something in the change is close to violating one of the guidelines and the spirit of the amendments from the recent Mofference discussion: to not have anything obscuring the timestamp. Currently the timestamp is overlapped by your username if the user has set the fonts in their system/browser smaller than the typical default. I can show you a screenshot about this in IRC if you're interested to see how it appears here. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 09:08, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
- I actually realized this problem last night when I went to leave {{Vw}} on somebody's talk page. I believe I've fixed the problem by using ems instead of pixels as the unit of measurement for the timestamp margin and adding an em dash after the username to eliminate any chance of the timestamp overlapping the username. It's not a perfect fix, as the talk page link and timestamp won't be perfectly aligned with each other if users zoom in or out or if the sig is used in a template like {{Vw}} or {{Votestruck}} that reduces the size of the text, but it'll stay closer than before and shouldn't have problems with overlapping anymore. Let me know if you have other questions or concerns. :) Master Jonathan — Jedi Council Chambers Monday, April 4, 2011, 18:56 UTC
