Usage

This template is to be used by administrators when striking ineligible votes, whether it's pursuant to the Voting eligibility policy or to the rules of the Star Wars Character of the Year contest.

Copy the template code below and wrap it around the vote in question. Fill in the required fields plus as many of the optional fields as necessary and remove any that you don't use.

Required parameters

  • |removedby= Your wiki signature (~~~~).
  • |reason= Reason for the vote being struck, possible value options being:

b		 Per policy: Blocked users are ineligible from all active votes for the duration of the block. (Sockpuppet votes are also permanently ineligible.)

e		 Per policy: Users must contribute 50 edits within the last 6 months under their registered Wookieepedia account to become voting-eligible. Edits to userpages and talk pages and any reverted and deleted edits do not count toward this total.

a		 Per policy: A user's Fandom account must have been registered prior to the start of a vote subject to the Consensus policy, requests for user rights/removal of user rights votes, or review board membership nominations to be eligible to vote on such forums.

d		 Per policy: On votes subject to the Consensus policy and concerning policies that affect the site's Discord server or Discussions forum, users who have not contributed 50 edits within the last 6 months under their registered Wookieepedia account may alternatively only vote if they are a Discussions moderator or have made at least 200 non-deleted posts on the site's Discussions forum within the previous 6 months prior to the start of the vote.

  • |vote= Wrap this parameter around the original vote, minus the # in front of the vote.

Notes

  • Adding #: before the template is needed to remove the vote from the vote numbering.
  • Please use {{Msg-votestruck}} to inform users that their votes have been struck if they are ineligible due to a lack of edits.
