Categories
Hi, there. Thanks for making new articles for Wookieepedia—I always enjoy watching our article count go up :) When creating new articles, though, please remember to place them in categories. For the song articles you are creating, you would need to use which would go at the bottom of the article. If there is more than one category, then they go in alphabetical order. Thanks, Greyman(Talk) 13:51, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hey. Again, please remember to categorize articles you create. You just made a new article, and your version seen here does not include the category even though I provided the one you should use for those types of articles. I've went ahead and added the category, but please heed the advice I've given and remember to add categories to articles you create in the future. Greyman(Talk) 18:02, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Answer
First off, please don't edit archives. Simply place your message on my talk page rather than using one of the archives. Anyone, you cannot upload a video because we don't allow that here, but you can upload an image. Go to the upload file on the left hand side under the search box, and be sure to follow all of the instructions. Also, you cannot change your username. If you wish to do that, you'd have to create a new account. Chack Jadson (Talk) 19:42, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:11, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Discussion of religion
I should remind you that Wookieepedia is not the place to discuss real-world religion in talk pages, even if they are your own. Though you haven't done this yet, your user page alludes to allowing it. The only religions that are to be discussed here are those that are in Star Wars material (e.g. Jedi, Bendu, etc). -- Riffsyphon1024 08:19, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

- Hey, sorry I never got back to you before; I haven't been on the site much lately at all. Looks like you saw what I was getting at, but in reply to your question: articles for specific album tracks would probably be turned into redirects to other articles and any important information on them would be moved to those articles. -- Ozzel 05:53, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

- I would like to reinforce the need for you to pay attention to things like this, per Wookieepedia's Manual of Style and Layout Guide, all things that have been linked for you on your talk page already. Judging by your talk page, you seem to have a history of creating articles haphazardly without taking the time to make sure the basics are included (appearances, categories, etc.), something for which you've already received a block for once upon a time. Please make sure you keep up with this kind of stuff, lest further action be taken. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 15:40, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Printing articles
Hey. I saw your messages on Mauser's talk page, and I thought I'd let you know that the easiest way to print articles is to switch to the Monobook skin through Special:Preferences. Once you do that, you'll find an option in the Toolbox (on the left side of the page under the search box) called "Printable version". Clicking that will bring up a printer-friendly version of the page. Cheers, —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 23:24, January 4, 2010 (UTC)

Musical eighth notes
Hey there, I thought I'd let you know that I converted your File:Musical_eighth_notes.svg image to an SVG version. The SVG should be used from now on. I've changed all the pages it linked to apart from your userpage. There isn't all the whitespace at the bottom on the SVG so you'll want to size it a little smaller. 180px where you would have used 200 or 70px instead of 100px, for example. Main Title
Well, that will be kinda difficult to GA, but certainly is possible, and would be a very cool GA. What specific questions do you have about referencing? You've got some references in so far and they're correct. :) Chack Jadson (Talk) 14:50, August 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, our music articles aren't the best, unfortunately. As for the main title, I like what you've done with the infobox, with sheet music as the image. All the references look good but the first one; unless that blog is official (by a Star Wars VIP as opposed to a fan) it can't be used as a reference. Empire of Dreams of the DVD commentaries may have stuff about the track that would be useful. As I touched on earlier, our music stuff isn't too good, and so a music GA doesn't have any real precedent. A section about the impact or "in pop culture" would probably be needed as well. Again, this is kind of a unique article to GA, so there will be some tough spots, but it'd also be interesting. Hope that helps. Chack Jadson (Talk) 16:23, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, you too. Chack Jadson (Talk) 17:00, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm. I'd suggest checking Star Wars: A Musical Journey and [{Empire of Dreams]] if you've got them and haven't done so already. DVD commentaries could also contain info. As for pop culture, perhaps there's an article or something somewhere about most recognizable film music pieces. You might also be able to find something well-known (TIME, New York Times, Washington Post, for example) talking about Star Wars and how "once you hear the opening theme, you know what it is." (not a real quote) Sorry I can't be any more specific than that, but I don't have much of an idea what is out there. Like I said, a music GA will be tough. Regardless, I wish you luck in finding some helpful information. Chack Jadson (Talk) 14:55, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Userpage
This should do the trick: Remove the Darth Bane Trilogy header. Remove ALL the instances of <div style="float:left; width:50%;"> and </div><br clear="all" /> in the collection/merchandise/favorites sections (but NOT the very last instance in the page of the "br clear" one). A few lines up from the bottom there is a single instance of }}</div>; remove it. Next, remove everything between *Star Wars Adventures Magazine 10 and ====Merchandise====. Finally, replace everything between *The Galaxy (map) and ===Favorites=== with }}. NAYAYEN:TALK 17:19, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

Why I reverted AOTCCS
Because tehre is no official Attack of the Clones complete score. I have heard of this 'Extended Edition' and it is quite simply a bootleg, and a rip-off at that as it simply re-edits material from another bootleg. There's even SFX over some of the tracks! I am simply obeying the rules which state that no fan work unless officially approved can be put on this wiki. Ggctuk 21:44, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Re: John Williams Tribute
I honestly don't know for sure whether that would be enough to merit an article here: the fan recognition clause of WP:NFP is pretty nebulous when it comes to things like this. It's probably best to ask some admins on this one. Cheers, Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:22, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Also, just as a head's up, the Themes template needs some work. You have Tusken Raider Theme under the "Introduce in Episode II" section, but it was introduced in Episode IV. - I see. OK, I also placed the audio sample in the Ewok Celebration article as well. In the Victory Celebration article, I changed the link text to say "Original" and once we can upload Victory Celebration SE.ogg, it can be put in under it as "Special Edition." If you have the ability to attach the ripped file of just the one SE track and email it to me, I'm more than happy to make edit the clip. Let me know and I'll provide you my email address. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:38, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, on looking at my music inventory list, I may also have the SE version, it was just misfiled. Let me check when I get home. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:40, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

- Too funny, that I was doing this and telling you on your talk page that I had done this at the same time you were asking me on my talk page to do this. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 13:44, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

- Ewok celebration is the only victory celebration music in ROTJ. And all I have is the Anthology, which was released prior to the Special Editions, so I don't have access to the "improved" changed version from ROTJSE. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 19:23, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I do have the SE versions of the soundtracks as well. I'll get a clip of the SE version of Victory Celebration tonight. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 21:20, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

Re: File:MainThemeUB.jpg
Sure, I'm a little busy at the moment so it'll take me a little while. Could you explain what the trio of vertical lines after the first note(s?) on the first line is? Also, what is it that's below the long notes (these are some technical terms here :P) on the second and third lines? If you have some clearer examples of those symbols (from some other piece of music I guess) that I could look at to get the details right then that would also be helpful. Cheers, NAYAYEN 19:14, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- No, I want to check what they should look like. It could be a random squiggle, the letter f or whatever. The image isn't really clear enough for me to tell what those symbols I mentioned (whatever they're called) should look like. There isn't much rush because I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to get to doing them =/ NAYAYEN 21:35, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- That's great, thanks. I had to think about the pound sign thing for a minute there, being English, I'm used to "a pound sign" being "£" =P. I'll get to work on that and the other one (I'll probably do that one first actually because it is clear enough to easily convert it) as soon as I've got time. NAYAYEN 19:46, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I did the one in the infobox first as that was a clearer source image; SVG version. As far as I know, the shape of the various round objects may not be 100% perfect. Ignore the black box at the top of it covering the 3, it'll be fixed ('cause Wikia's Image Server Sucks). Once any niggles have been sorted with that, I'll try the next one. I should then be able to just copy and paste the same notes for all music sheet excerpts so, provided the other one turns out okay, I should be good to do more requests. So yeah, have a look at it and tell me what you think, NAYAYEN 16:29, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, have another look. You might need to add "?action=purge" on to the URL in the address bar and load that to see the changes. Failing that, reload it with Ctrl + F5. If there are still black boxes, click this link in a browser OTHER than IE (then the "3"s show up as they should, Wikia's fault). NAYAYEN 16:45, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Hello Master Fredcerique, thanks very much for inviting me to the Christian Music Wiki. When I am free, I'll check it out. A few years ago, I also raised the issue on cussing but I had to learn that others viewed it as an "interference" on their liberties. In this post-modern age, the emphasis seems to have shifted to the rights of the individual over the needs of the community. Basically, society seems to have become more selfish. That's my understanding of the cussing situation on the Internet. The best advice would probably to be ourselves and then let them be themselves. Wookieepedia is probably not be the best place for debates over moral issues. My solution is to maintain a low profile by focusing on editing projects and to avoid debates or confrontations. Hope to see you on Wookieepedia and its very nice meeting you. Andykatib 07:46, 7 Oct 2010 (UTC)
Two cities
Hey, just noticed your redirect of Xucphra City to Zalxuc City, and i wanted to let you know that we typically name articles by the subject's chronologically latest (canonically) known name, per Rule 2 of the "Be precise when possible" subsection of our naming policy, so it would probably be best to redirect Zualxuc to Xuchpra City. Remember that it's OK to be BOLD, but that you should always check for existing rules we have and familiarize yourself with our policies so that you can ensure that you're doing the right thing. - No problem. Stuff like that happens all the time; I just wanted to make sure you were aware. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:57, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Hi. You may not know me, but I just wanted to know that I stand behind you on your stance on censorship on the Wook. Check out my entry on That discussion page and tell me what you think! --Gmalek (The ability to edit does not make you intelligent) 03:40, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
User image
Just letting you know, you still have to fill out the Information template with source and license information even on user images. The source can be as simple "Created by myself using various promotional ROTS image" but it still needs to be there. Licensing tag as well, or it will get deleted by an admin. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 18:24, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
