Welcome, LegnÁ 789!

Hello, LegnÁ 789, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:
New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, you can consult our FAQ, ask a question in the Senate Hall forum, visit our official IRC channel, or leave me a message on my talk page. |
Minimum effort
I had to revert your edit on Star Wars Legends: not only was it mostly off-topic, it contained several spelling mistakes, a complete absence of formatting and references, and a subjective comment that has nothing to do on an encyclopedia. Please, it doesn't requires too much effort to produce suitable content. I would recommend that you switch to source edit instead of visual edit, as it will greatly help you improve the quality of your work, especially if you try to take notice of how experienced editors are working. Having a look at status articles and policies is also a must. NanoLuukeCloning facility 17:44, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Quality of edits
Hi LegnÁ 789, I'm concerned that you appear to have been editing articles without proofreading your spelling and grammar, and are not following the Wookieepedia:Manual of Style. For instance, "Jedi" is always capitalized, and your Kyle Katarn edits seen here had numerous errors that another user had to correct. Please check your work carefully and review the Manual of Style. -- Immora (talk) 08:30, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

You have come close to violating, or have already violated, the Three-Revert Rule. If you continue to edit-war, an administrator will block you from editing. Please reconsider your approach, and pay attention to the advice others provide.MasterFred |
What am I supposed to do exacly? someone is making a dumb, unnecesary edit and the administrators don't do anything about it, am I just supposed to let it slide? —Unsigned comment by LegnÁ 789 (talk • contribs)
- First off, don't call other user's edits "dumb." You can say "low quality" or something similar, but "dumb" is insulting and against our policies on civility and personal attacks. Secondly, you can always message an admin if you feel someone is doing something harmful. Edit warring is not an acceptable form of conflict resolution. MasterFred

File uploads
Hi there, please include a link to the appropriate article when sourcing files. Also, don't forget to include applicable categories. I've fixed one of your uploads for you but please make sure to remember this in the future. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 19:08, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Please, instead of signing your messages with the Unsigned template, sign all your messages with four tildes (~~~~) by using the source editor. Thank you. - - -OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 09:46, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Warning
With regards to your comments on Talk:4_ABY/Legends: Please see Wookieepedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Immora (talk) 08:34, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- This message is completely false an is an exageration with an abuse of power with the only purposse of damaging a person reputation. Personal attack is a ridiculous exagerattion and should be removed from my talk page, as it lacks a propper basis and is completely removing the context in an arbitrary way. LegnÁ 789 (talk) 11:02, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- Immora is correct, and the link she posted clearly highlights your breach of policy. "Not my problem," "Make up your mind," and "Are you messing with me? You flip floped between the talk page and the voting community, instead of giving a single answer" are all violations of either our no personal attacks or civility policies. As previously stated, this type of editor interaction damages our community and discourages other users. As you don't seem to be taking heed at the above message, consider this your official administrative warning: please consider the comments you make in regard to the previously linked policies or else you will be blocked from editing. Thank you for your cooperation. Tommy-Macaroni 16:20, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Warning
Please do not copy paste the information found in the canon article for Mother Talzin into the Legends one. Yes, we consider the events from Maul: Sons of Dathomir as both Canon and Legends, but we don't just copy-paste the information, it needs to be written from zero. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:11, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
Image upload
Hi there. Thank you for your contribution to Wookieepedia. Just wanna let you know to please avoid copying and pasting the information summary when uploading an image. Seeing that it's not the first image you've uploaded, I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the image policy before uploading more. Cheers! Bonzane10 (holonet) 10:23, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- Similar to the point above. Please familiarize the image policy before uploading. Unless the text inside of a text box or speech bubble is partially cut from the image, it should be intact. Bonzane10

- When uploading an image, please use the appropriate redirect. Images from the Legends article can only be redirected to images from that same continuity. For example, use [[Luke Skywalker/Legends|Luke Skywalker]] instead of [[Luke Skywalker]]. Cheers! Bonzane10
