month 12 is out of time

As you can read here: Galactic Standard Calendar, a year only has 11 months.--TeakHoken91.33.22.177 01:08, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

  • We don't really know how many months are in a year. This shows that at least two different calendars were in use in-universe as of 22 BBY, one with 10 months and one with 11 months. Several other sources indicate a 12-month calendar. In short, it's a gigantic mess that only Lucasfilm can solve. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 01:20, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

GrS Years are Wrong

For some reason, I am unable to edit the years. However, the GrS years for 4 ABY are 39:3 to 40:2. That needs to be edited on the side.

Placement of certain RotJ events

  • Shouldn't events like the rescue of Han be placed in 3 ABY? ANH starts on 35:3:3, still in 0 BBY, and it ends a few days later, in 0 ABY. RotJ starts on 39:3:3, which would still be in 3 ABY, and ends later, in 4 ABY. Therefore, shouldn't those beginning events of RotJ, like the rescue of Han, occur the year prior to this one? Image

The image should be a live-action one not an illustration, isn't that the way it is supposed to be prioritized? I tried to change it but one guy told me that it shouldn't be because the infobox is old. What does that mean? That's how we value the pages now? Time doesn't matter if the change is an improvement, Live-action scenes are supposed to be prioritized therefore it should be changed. Unsigned comment by LegnÁ 789 (talk • contribs)

  • Your picture doesn't fit with the topic.Hk 47 (talk) 14:18, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
    • There is nothing wrong with the extremely high-quality illustration used in the infobox. Live-action or not, the image you tried to put in was significantly lower quality. High quality illustration trumps lower quality live-action image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 15:19, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
  • (Not a guy.) By noting the age, I was highlighting the implied long-standing community consensus by maintaining the image selection for that length of time. Infobox images sometimes go to community votes. I think the current image is excellent, and it depicts three significant characters together at a pivotal time. The image you proposed isn't as compelling to me composition-wise. -- Immora (talk) 13:23, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
    • 100% agree with you, Immora. There is no reason or need to change the image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 14:57, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
    • (Not my problem)Now First off you didn't do that nor did you specyfi nothing you just said that the image was old and if I had a problem with it I should go to the talk page. And Second off when I did just that and started to get somewhere you come with an entirely new claim. Make up your mind.Unsigned comment by LegnÁ 789 (talk • contribs)
      • I'm requesting that I not be misgendered; my gender and pronouns are stated on my profile. My edit reason was this: "Infobox image has been in place for several years; please discuss on talk page to suggest a change." Although it was terse due to limited characters, I've attempted to elaborate here on that edit reason, and state my position about the image. I don't believe any of that warrants your rudeness towards me. Please review the consensus policy for infobox images and the civility policy. -- Immora (talk) 14:32, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
        • I can't bview the profile of every single person I see. That's why you didn't even mentioned the voting communitie until after I went to the talk page? Rudeness? Are you messing with me? You flip floped between the talk page and the voting community, instead of giving a single answer. I am not being rude I am just telling what it is.LegnÁ 789 (talk) 17:40, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
  • 1. I suggest familiarizing yourself with Wookieepedia policies, given that you have yet to sign your comments. 2. You have not presented a single valid reason for changing the image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 20:33, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
    • I said that live-action images are prioritized, that's a reason, you told me that if it wasn't HD it shouldn't be Then I asked that if I Found an HD Live-Action image I could change it, you never answer me or gave another reason other than is old or simply a no.LegnÁ 789 (talk) 14:08, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
      • Per point 1 of the image policy: Images for use in articles should be of the highest quality available. Nowhere does that say should be live-action. It might be preferable for a high profile article to have a live-action image. This is not a high profile page. Therefore you have not presented a valid arguement for changing the image. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 20:58, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
