Three years later, there might be some new bts info about Rookie One. There's Premium-Era-real this interview on starwarsinterviews1.blogspot.com (backup link not verified!) with Jamison Jones, that doesn't have toooo much info about the character, but it does mention that they used original costumes from ROTJ, which is pretty cool and probably relevant. Zuckuss

I reworded and sourced the unsourced paragraph in the "Early life" section. As for the article still being in use... When it comes to wording, I'm just never satisfied. A sentence I reword one week will end up being reworded again the next week because I just think it sounds better at that time. In that respect, everything will always be in a perpetual state of improvement. So, perhaps can Zuckuss be given another once-over and finally lose the ankle bracelet? Anyways, I had a quick question. I saw that you deleted my page I created, The Invasion of Barons Hed. I was then told to go to the page Mission to Sulon. I am sorry, but there is a different. My page refers SPECIFICALLY to the invasion that took place on Sulon. Yours refers to Kyle Katarn's mission to Sulon.   • Out of eight paragraphs on the page you created, four covered Katarn's mission as described in Mission to Sulon. Of the remaining four, one was the intro and one was BTS info. Only two paragraphs were about the "invasion." Since the game doesn't actually depict an invasion of Sulon anyway, you'd be better off working on improving the Mission to Sulon article instead.   • You need to create a signature page on each wiki like the one you have on the Avatar Wiki. It doesn't work at the moment since your substing a page that doesn't exist.   • I've changed the link to the original article. Licensing and source information for images is available by clicking on them. I've changed the source to point to the original article and you can edit this page to change the attribution or credit the original photographer in the author field if what's there isn't sufficient. The image is used under fair use and we'd prefer to credit the source without displaying a watermark if possible. Let me know if that's not ok with you. Re-featured FAs

Hey GT,

Zsinj had the required number of votes over on the Re-featured noms page, so I went ahead and added him to the FA queue. Only eleven FAs passed in May, so I guess we should be aiming to tack at least twenty re-featured ones onto the queue for now.

What I did for Zsinj was add him to the queue, add a new featured notice to his talk page, and remove him from the re-featured page and add Stagorr at the bottom. It seemed simple enough. The only aspect I was a bit uneasy about was that currently, there's nowhere to archive the discussion and vote of his re-featured nomination. Do you think we should archive those discussions somewhere and link to them on the articles' talk pages?

Once we get the archiving method figured out, I'd be happy to take a stab at creating an archiving instructions page. Anyway, let me know what you think. Cheers! Menkooroo 16:00, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

  • These are a little less important than others, I guess, since they don't change the status (at most it gets referred to the Inqs). But the review date is worth having noted somewhere for next time it rolls round. I've created an archive page (needs the category made) and added milestones to the talk page. That should do it.   • Hey there. I'm wondering if I can pick your brain about the procedure for removing failed RFA nominations. I'm not sure when a nom should be removed from the page, but I see two basic options: 1) After two/three weeks of idle objections, or 2) if it goes to the Inqs, gets put on probation, and ultimately loses its FA status.

    The major problem with the former option is that if someone were to go and improve/fix the article afterwards, there wouldn't be any sort of process for putting it back on the RFA page, and it would lose any chance of being featured on the main page again. A potential solution would be the option of leaving a note on the bottom of the RFA page like so:

    <!-- When adding new nominations to this list, please add [[so-and-so article]] first. It was previously removed from this page as a failed nomination, but it is now ready to be nominated again. -->

    The major problem with the latter option is that from the day an article is brought to the Inquisitors, it's nearly two months before it can lose its FA status, and it would sit idling on the RFA page during that time. That would seem to defeat the purpose of the RFA page—that is, a number of old, 2007-quality FAs idling on the page for months at a time instead of old, good-quality FAs being added to the lacking FA queue.

    I like the former option, personally, as long as we make the option available for people to add that notice to the bottom of the RFA page. I guess some sort of note on the talk page saying "If you take care of the outstanding objections linked above, please add blah blah message to the bottom of the RFA page..." would be in order, too. This method would speed up the process and allow older FAs to be added to the queue more frequently. What are your thoughts? Menkooroo 04:51, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

I ask because I've done some tinkering with Liberation of Ackbar and I understand that battle is mentioned in the book, and I was hoping to find somebody who had it and could tell me what additional info (if any) is in there.     • From Ackbar's biography in the A Call to Reason pamphlet: "In a dramatic encounter, Ackbar was rescued when Tarkin's shuttle was attacked by Rebel forces and the Admiral was left behind." I'm not sure if A Call to Reason was printed in The Farlander Papers too. If so, that's another source. The main bit is the walkthrough for the mission. Since it's just a historical one, it basically just tells you what to do and isn't presented as a mission report. However, it does have Commander Wex Dafid's training objective: "This is your 'final exam' for the Y-wing. You have to use pretty much all your skills, particularly your ability to identify and disable a ship, and then protect the other mission participants until they complete their jobs. You have to move quickly and efficiently to find Ackbar's shuttle in time and then destroy anyone who tries to attack it of the Hasti." The mission statistics tables at the back also include it. They just list every unit involved in the mission but do identify the planet used in the background as Mon Calamari. Oh, and this should all be in both X-Wing: The Official Strategy Guide and X-wing Collector's CD-ROM: The Official Strategy Guide. Green Tentacle (Talk) 19:58, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

Hello there. After a discussion with Toprawa in IRC, I was advised to bring it to your attention. Is it possible to edit Template:YJCCG--{{YJCCG|SET NAME|link=URL|cardname=CARD NAME}} and remove the need for the link? The card name won't appear if the link section is blank, and the website which had the card images is now defunct and can only be found via the Internet Archive.   • The edit was from the same IP that made two fanon articles yesterday so it seemed likely to be the same person. I had a quick look at the comic and it's not 100% clear that he's Vowrawn. Wyl sector category

Hi, I recently noticed you deleted my Category:species of the Wyl Sector to change it to Category:species of the Wyl sector.
