Time of Big Bang

Hi! Could you tell where the time of Big Bang is stated in The Essential Atlas, preferably with quote stating it (I don't have the book myself). I'm trying to fix sourcing related to it so help is appreciated, thanks. --Tm T 21:22, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

  • The date of the Big Bang was not identified in the Essential Atlas. Someone else just threw that date out there. The Atlas just says "The galaxy is an estimated 13 billion years old." on page 125. I guess based on currently scientific calculations you could back out the date of the Big Bang considering when the earliest galaxies were formed. Hope that helped.--Darthscott3457 00:27, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
    • So apparently there's no sources for it, that makes things a lot easier, big thanks. (: --Tm T 01:18, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Re: 13,000,000,000 BBY

Hey there, Darthscott! Well, that TEA's written from the perspective of anywhere near the most current SW stories is still just an assumption, isn't it? ;) And "approximately 13 billion years ago", as mentioned on the article about the galaxy, is still much more precise than 13,000,000,000 BBY. When uploading images, please make sure that they are properly sourced and licensed. The Special:Upload page has all the fields there for you, so all that needs to be done is to fill out the required fields. Please make sure to source and license all of your uploads, else they will be removed. Thanks. Trak Nar Ramble on 03:26, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Sorry that was my first picture upload, didn't know. I keep on getting bounced even when I filled out the form just now, so I'll just forget it for now.Sorry again.--Darthscott3457 (talk) 03:56, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

Ships

With the exception of the Tears of Taris, which is a modified Centurion-class battlecruiser, and the Lindworm, which is of an unknown class, all of the ships that you added are simply Harrower-classes. The modifications don't mean they are a separate class until they are canonically specified to be a separate class, like the BSX-5 - which is not a "BSX-5-class". The only two that could stay are the Tears and the Lindworm. Cade Calrayn GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 17:27, October 18, 2012 (UTC)

Ships

  • D-class attack cruiser = Valor-class cruiser, as it's described as a "hump-shaped shell"
  • Hammerhead = Hammerhead-class cruiser, as they are 315 m long and half the size of the 500+ m Mardorus
  • CR-12 corvette = Thranta-class corvette, as they are "sleek, narrow ships equipped with battering-ram-shaped bows" and "prominent external afterburners"
  • C-class destroyer = Terminus-class destroyer, as they are "claw-shaped"
  • Dreadnought = Harrower-class dreadnought, as they are referred to as "dreadnoughts" in TOR as well.
  • The Delta-class carrier is a new ship. Cade Calrayn GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 18:42, November 16, 2012 (UTC)
