Dates

  • The dates you've been putting on all the Tales of... books are incorrect. I have an American copy which says that it was first published in 1995. Perhaps where you are it came out at a later date, but 1995 is the correct date. 20px TheOne&OnlyAdmirableAckbar (It's A Trap!) 12:06, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

The Dates are Correct But it Came out on the 02 of january 1996 belive me i have cheched on five different sites and they all say the same thing the reason it would still have 1995 on the out side is that it was released so close to 1995 that they still used the date Dark Lord Xander 09:25, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

    • You May be Right But i am still adement that i am right because i have reaserched it thurrowly after i saw it saying that it 1996 on the wookie page of Tales From Jabba's Palace and i thourght it was a mistake as on the back of my book it also said 1995 but on the inside it says januray 1996 and also on many web pages such as cargo bay and even Kevin J. Andersons Web site if you still dont belive me not that you should as i may be wrong type Tales From Jabba's Palace Publication Date into google and i can garatee that around 95% of pages have it listed as 02 Janurary 1996 Dark Lord Xander 09:58, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
  • If so, my apologies. All the dates on my book say 2005, and that's a book I ordered from America. If you're adamant that 1996 is right, then feel free to re-add it, though I don't think it's necessary on each tale, just doing the book should suffice. You're referring to this image, I made that myself. It's very easy, I downloaded the Aurebesh font and made that image.   • Hello again Dark Lord Xander, to change your signature, you need to go to your preferences and paste the code for your signature in the "Nickname" field. Then, you need to make sure "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" is on. After that you should be able to sign your comments with your new signature using ~~~~. RE: Vandalism ??

Hello again Dark Lord Xander, you are right, editing another user's user page without that users permission is not acceptable. I noticed something very similar a few days ago and I asked an admin about in IRC and the response I got was that any edit to another users user page can (and usually will) be considered vandalism, and depending on what was edited, it could even result in a block. You did the right thing by warning him (I would have the same thing), if he does it again let one of the Admins know about. Character stubs

Please do not add {{char-stub}} to character articles based solely on the fact that the articles are short. Stubs are based on whether an article has all relevant information, not on how short it is. Hello again to you too (it makes the website just that much more enjoyable to talk to people I would have on a friends list (if there was one)). I am as you gessed a Mando fan especially the Fetts (Boba and Jango both) and I too would like to see more of the Fetts in the new Star Wars books. I don't really like the new books overall story as it goes against the rest of the Star Wars books up until this point very strongly. It also in my mind is becoming an overly glorified rip-off of the clone wars, notice how the authers call it the confederacy and galactic alliance war when the clone wars was the confederacy and galactic republic. To further my dislike of the new series is how they killed off Mara Jade. She was one of my personal favorite characters and I know one of the favorites overall. In one poll she was rated the 10th favorite Star Wars character over all (the highest a non-movie character has ever made).
So because of all of this yes the mandos are the only part of the story I give a care about since I like the Fetts and Mandos in general. I also like the part that Boba is working so hard to restore the Mandos, I have always liked Boba but I like him that much more now that he is working hard to restore his people.
Also thanks for showing me how to do that thing where you say stuff at the end of you name.

Deleting User Talk

Hello, I did not ignore your suggestions. I asked Riffsyphon1024 about it. He stated that there is no rule against it in total but if someone did it too many times they could be banned. And as far as I was concerned the conversation was over as your last response was made after School of Thrawn's, and I believe I gave ample time for any further comments to be made before I deleted them. Since I am new on this site I didn't want the first messages on my user talk page being someone telling me that I am messing everything up. So if you don't mind (and I don't really see why you should) please let me know when you are done with this conversation so that I can clean my user talk page and start fresh. I assure you I have no intention of deleting any other messages there, but I think as a new user I should at least get one chance to slip up without having a scar on my user page that everyone will be able to see forever more. If the next new comments to my user talk page are negative as well then I will simply have to accept the fact that I am a complete git and move on. I understand that you were helping me out, and I appreciate it, but I don't really need it to stay on my userpage for me to remember not to do it again in the future. Guest Book

I know why you can't have a guest book. i asked an admin and i got a reply from someone else and he told me "it has been decided that a user's personal page should not be their primary contributoin to the wiki and that utlizing one's personal page as a networking tool is essentially missing the point and purpose of wookieepedia.

      • But you don't know if it is the first appearance. Youa re just looking at articles that have only one and adding it.   • Traditionally, we do not add the template to a page with only one appearance or source because it is superfluous in that case. The whole point of the template is to differentiate which source the subject of the article appeared in first.
