Wookieepedia aspires to be a reliable source for all Star Wars fans to read and draw information from, and as such, fan-created continuity and fan fiction are not allowed within our articles. All in-universe material must be attributable to a reliable, published source.

Do not remove talk page and forum comments, including your own, as they are part of the public record. Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Senate Hall, visit our official IRC channel, or ask me on my talk page. May the Force be with you! —SFH 16:47, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Warning

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Thank you. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 00:20, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • Do not remove content from your talk page, as it is part of the public record and therefore should be kept. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 00:37, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: New

The welcome message at the top of your talk page contains links to areas of the site that new users may find helpful, such as Welcome, newcomers, which explains the basics of Wookieepedia. Before creating articles, you should familiarize yourself with the Manual of Style, get a general idea on how articles are laid out. And if you are looking to create articles that are not on the site, Article requests often has requested articles that need created, and there is also the gallery of requested articles that contains images which require articles.

Keep in mind that Wookieepedia does not accept fanon. If you wish to write fanon, the Star Wars Fanon Wiki is an option for that. However, if the articles you wish to write are canon, can be sourced and verified, then by all means feel free to add an article.

If you need help editing, this tutorial may be beneficial. It includes how to edit and create articles. Trak Nar Ramble on 00:59, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • On the "Article Requests" page, click the link that says "Add a request." It will take you to the edit page, where you type in the following:

==Month and Date, Year==

  • [Article's name]

Someone with the require resources may then tackle that when they are able. Supplying sources for the articles, like perhaps an author's blog, also is helpful. Trak Nar Ramble on 03:08, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

Fanon warning

Your lightsaber edits

You edits to Lightsaber are considered low quality for a variety of reasons, all listed in the WP:MOS. First, your edits are present tense, instead of past-tense. Second, you should avoid specific examples, like Maul or Dooku. Third, most the information is redundant with Lightsaber hilts. And finally, all of it was unsourced. I would suggest not adding any of that information again, with one exception. If you can find a legitimate, verifiable, and official source for crystals turning black with age, you can try to find a way to add it to Lightsaber crystal, citing the aforementioned source. If it's fanon (fanfiction) or speculation (a guess), don't bother. SinisterSamurai 01:41, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, I guess

SinisterSamuri, I appreciate your help. Thank you and have a nice day/night. -Cc-7567 lover

Re:Please stop deleting my stuff!

I undid your post because actors should only have one section dedicated to non-SW films on their articles. We can't have an individual section for every movie every actor ever did, because that's not what Wookieepedia is about. I've added The Men Who Stare at Goats to the proper section of McGregor's article. Axinal Convocation Chamber 00:32, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • There is information on The Men Who Stare at Goats in the last paragraph of the Star Wars section, as well as in the infobox on the right. Axinal Convocation Chamber 00:42, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Cleaning

Hey there. I saw that you asked Lee about how to edit your talk page in order to clean it up. You can edit it by pressing the edit button at the top of the page. Please remember, though, that you are not allowed to remove content from your talk page without archiving it, as stated in the welcome message. To create an archive, copy all content from this page, paste it here and remove the stuff from this page. Then provide a link to your archive from here. And sorry to Lee for answering a question directed at him. Cheers. -- 1358 (Talk) 17:39, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • You want me to archive it? -- 1358 (Talk) 17:47, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
    • No problem; feel free to ask if you have more questions. -- 1358 (Talk) 17:52, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
      • I've done it now. I didn't archive this heading, as one should not archive active conversations. :) Cheers. -- 1358 (Talk) 17:57, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
        • Always happy to help. :-) -- 1358 (Talk) 18:12, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
