Image upload + category

Hey, there! All good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated! I just wanna let you know for future uploads to please consider cropping out borders from images, such as a the black borders seen in you uploads. Additionally, please double-check the image summary and template provided, because all of the images you've uploaded have broken summary templates, as well as incorrect implementation of categories and general pipelinking. I'd suggest reading up on files policy to understand better how images work on here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page or join Wook's Discord server for further assistance. Happy editing and cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 19:32, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

  • Wanna add real quick. It's also preferable if you could upload images with better file names, as a lot of the file names currently are cluttery. Cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 19:34, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
  • Please hold from uploading more images and try to sort out the current issue (stated above) regarding images you uploaded. Cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 19:49, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

Sorry! I'm a bit new to Wookieepedia, so I didn't have much understanding to the uploading system. I've been fixing the information and removing black borders for the pictures I've previously uploaded, but if there is anything else I should do please let me know.-BreadyBird (talk) 21:27, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
  • No worries! Appreciate the efforts. Though for the future..any unfilled parameters/fields should be left intact. Cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 02:51, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
  • For future uploads, please ensure that all required category parameters are filled. Also, make sure to add brackets for categories. See here for reference. Cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 03:24, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
  • Got it, thanks for the advice.BreadyBird (talk) 03:27, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Kay's Lucky Chip

Hey, there! Regarding Kay's Lucky Chip, is the name of the article conjectural or not? Additionally, infobox image used for an article must be specified for that particular object. In this case, you used a prop image from Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, which is not at all accurate or represents the actual subject of the article. Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 03:30, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

  • So, based on the information of the game, the name of the object is the name provided in-game. For the image, the tracking device is meant to be identical to a golden Cantocoin, which I felt that the image would be a fair representation of. If there is any issues then I will change it immediately.BreadyBird (talk) 03:40, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
  • Hey again! I've removed the image because we only use infobox image that actually represents the article's subject. For example, we wouldn't use a random image of a Wookiee for Chewbacca, or a random gold chance cube for Han Solo's dice. It has to be that specific relevant subject. Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 04:23, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
  • Thanks again for the tip, I'll be more careful next time!BreadyBird (talk) 04:33, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
  • Hello once again! I took a screenshot of the chip from the game, and is planning upload the image and then some other Star Wars Outlaws-related images along with it. This time I'll remember to fill out the necessary requirements and make sure it's accurate, but is there anything else I should still acknowledge to help avoid any issues? thanks!BreadyBird (talk) 03:35, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
    • Hey again! Feel free to upload them whenever you'd like! As long as they are accurate to the article's subject, there should be no problem. Happy editing and cheers! Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 07:47, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
