Droids Omnibus
Hey there! Do you have a recent source for the date of the Dark Horse droids series? The omnibus dates it at 3 BBY, and as far as I can tell, it's the most recent date given. Menkooroo 16:42, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

- Hey. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you; I didn't have access to my comics until recently. I was getting my date from the timeline at the back of the omnibus, which says 3 BSW4. But I've since found the 5.5 BBY date which kicks off The Kalarba Adventures and is presumably the correct one. Good catch. Menkooroo 22:26, June 23, 2012 (UTC)

p. 34: By the beginning of the third lap I was in third place behind Sebulba and Terter. Obitoki and Habba Kee were right behind me. p. 35: Terter's vertical stabilizer had snagged the steelton line to my left engine, unhooking the main binding. Obitoki, Elan Mak, and Habba Kee slipped past while I whipped all over the sky, fighting to get my Podracer back under control. p. 36: Ka-boom! Ahead, Obitoki disappeared in flames and smoke. Sebulba had flashed him with his side vents, the same move he'd used on me in our last race, only I'd managed to crash-land and walk away. Ka-boom! In-Universe "Official Star Wars Fact File"?
Hello, Borsk Fey'lya. I see you made that Official Star Wars Fact File index back in the time it was being published, so I guess you'll be able to answer my question. In the French edition of the Fact Files—which I own—there was an "opening crawl" at the back of the galaxy map, which hints at an in-universe Fact File. As I don't know if this also exists in the original, English language edition, I wanted to ask your opinion before creating a conjectural article on these "centralized archives". I hereby provide you with a translation of the said French opening crawl.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… Twenty-three years have gone by since the destruction of the second Death Star. The New Republic, after a brief period of unstable and uncertain peace, must now face the greatest threat in its history: the attack of the Yuuzhan Vong, a species of fierce extragalactic invaders.
In these difficult times, the preserving of the archives was of paramount importance. To this end, all existing files about the New Republic, all the Jedi Holocrons, all documents and plans relating to the Old Republic and the Galactic Empire have been collected in compiled into a centralized data pool.
Rediscover the complete, rich and extraordinary history of this galactic universe in… The Official Star Wars Fact File.
While the last sentence is clearly OOU, it seems pretty solid that there could be a "New Republic Centralized Archives" conjectural article. What say you? Best regards. --LelalMekha 10:30, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- I can't seem to find the Galaxy Map which was included in my (German language) edition of the Fact File and I'd like to have either that one or the original English language map checked before I comment on this. --Borsk Fey'lya

Fact File 11
Does The Official Star Wars Fact File 11 mention Bolvan during his service on the Devastator, perhaps specifically his service during the events of ANH, when he was a Gunnery captain? I'm figuring out which of Bolvan's sources are also gunnery captain sources. Thanks. Hanzo Hasashi 04:28, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
- Another question: I saw way back in 2007 you added Vader: The Ultimate Guide to Bolvan's sources. I'm assuming that includes his ANH appearance? If so, then that will be added to Gunnery captain's source list. Hanzo Hasashi 15:10, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
- The Vader Guide mentions "Captain Bolvan" only in context with the bombardment of Falleen.
- Fact File 11 is a (Picture only)-appearance featuring the full-screen version of this picture. Bolvan or his rank at that time are not identified. --Borsk Fey'lya

Dating question
Hey, Borsk. I just saw on the recent changes that you have the new Droids and Ewoks omnibus. Does it provide dates for the stories within? Is there an "approximately ____ years before the Battle of Yavin" preceding both the Droids and the Ewoks comics? They've never been dated before, and I'm curious as hell. :D Thanks. Menkooroo (talk) 19:35, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
- First thing I checked, but nope, there are no dates for Droids or Ewoks. The comics are printed in exactly the same way as the A Long Time Ago Omnibusses: The classic comic cover followed by the story. This time there isn't even a timeline in the back. --Borsk Fey'lya

Fact File 138
Hey Borsk, what information does The Official Star Wars Fact File 138 have on Tookarti? And is he mentioned in any other Fact Files? Thanks in advance for your response.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 17:29, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Fact File 138 doesn't have any info on Tookarti. Whoever added that source must have mixed it up with The Official Star Wars Fact File 116 FAL1-2, The Fall of Quinlan Vos, a two-page summary of Double Blind. It has the following to say about Tookarti:
- A Chadra-Fan called Tookarti was working for Korto Vos and Count Dooku. Tookarti had been given the codes by Count Dooku, and it was Tookarti, Master Kolar revealed, who had sold Quinlan Vos to the Jedi Council. [...] Quinlan was furious that, after all the missions, all the secrets he had kept and the things he'd done for the Republic and the Council, they would take the word of Tookarti over his. [...] Aruk intervened [in the duel between Agen Kolar and Vos] and forced the Jedi Master to let Quinlan Vos go free. This was bad news for Tookarti - when Vos got back to base, he was not in a forgiving mood. Quinlan confronted and killed Tookarti.
- Then there's an image of Tookarti's corpse with the following caption: After he had escaped Agen Kolar, Quinlan Vos returned to his base to settle accounts with Tookarti. The Chadra-Fan had betrayed him and was cut down with a single strike of the Jedi's lightsaber.
- And that's all the Fact File has about Tookarti. --Borsk Fey'lya

Dyer
Hey Borsk, I have a question regarding Dyer in Fact Files 11 and 34. For issue 11 -- (END9, The Battle of Endor) -- is there any mention of him? And in 34 -- (END6, Endor - Shield Generator) -- there's only a picture of him, correct? Thanks JangFett (Talk) 05:33, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
- FF11, END9: [Jerjerrod] and Colonel Dyer worked closely together by planning the deployment of the ground forces. [...] Colonel Dyer's aide Lieutenant Grond (a Corellian and in his youth a pilot in swoop races) was tasked to organize the scout patrols.
- FF34 only has a picture, that's correct. --Borsk Fey'lya

Jorus C'Baoth in Fact File 86
Hell Borsk. Amongst other projects, I intent a rewrite of Jorus C'baoth. I was skimming through my French edition of the Official Fact File, and I stumbled upon this paragraph (hereby translated for you): "It is known that Jorus C'Baoth came from the city of Teithcass on the planet Bortras. He was born strong with the Force. His powers were quickly remarked by the Jedi Order, and he was sent to Coruscant in order to begin his learning. Everything went well for him at the Temple, and he became a Knight, and then a Master a few years later."
I wanted to known if the original English edition of The Official Star Wars Fact File 86 actually says anything like that. Thanks in advance. Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 12:55, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Here's the paragraph from the English Fact File:
- It is now known that Jorus C'Baoth startet life on the planet Bortras, in the city of Reithcass. He was born with a strong connection to the Force. His powers were recognized early on by the Jedi Order, and he was sent to Coruscant to join the Order and start his training. He did well at the Temple, becoming a Jedi Knight and then a Master some years later. --Borsk Fey'lya

Dates
Hey, Borsk, I noticed you undoing my edits to the old Star Wars comics. Just wanted to let you know that I'm fine with it - I just realized that the sources don't actually say the entire war is in 39:4, so I was wrong to change those. It's more accurate to say that the war occurs in 39:3-39:4, as the earliest battles are confirmed to be in 39:3 and the Declaration of a New Republic occurs in 39:4. I was already intending to undo my edits in a half and hour or so, so thanks for the help and I understand why. Cade Calrayn 21:54, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
User: Cade Calrayn
Hi Borsk, I'm new to the wiki community and I planned on finishing setting up my profile and talk page today. I've already made a few edits on a couple of pages, but user:Cade Calrayn reverted the page I merged. When I posted on his talk page to get input as to why he felt it should not be merged when a merge had already been suggested, he did not respond. Now, as an adult, I planned on following the rules and seeing if anyone voted on it over the next week. So I got my talk page set up and within a few minutes of me saving it, the same user who reverted the merge I made (Cade Calrayn), also reverted my talk page back to it's original state. Therefore, I spent 30 min to an hour for nothing. If he keeps this up, I'm going to have to leave this Wiki. I'm an avid Star Wars fan and I don't want to leave, but I expected there to be some maturity on this site. I hope that I'm not wrong. I believe users should want to work together to keep newcomers coming to the site, not driving them off.
