Heya, just me here, Exilos. Informing you on why I edited Revan as niman practitioner: I was merely adding the tag (ambiguous) next to his name, since I find it so, by my own regards, so I thought I'd make a little contribution in that way. Wasn't completely certain it was fanon, so I just stated it was ambiguous. That's all there is to it, really. Exilos 00:01, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
SWORD
Hi Ataru, its Zorba Fett. I have only just registered on Wookiepedia, but before that I started the sword page (with the IP as my user name- first 62.255.105.18 then 88.111.69.32). I was not sure how to 'wookiefy' it, so I just put in the content. I am pleased with its improvements, but I think all the sword related weapons should be put into one article, like all the types of lightsabers. I was wondering if you could help do this with your expertise and influence as administrator.
I am a big Star Wars fan, and have only just found out about wookiepedia. I am also having trouble sourcing new copies of the Star Wars books inbetween 'A New Hope' and the 'New Jedi Order Series'. Do you know where I could find them? Thankyou for your time.
-User: Zorba Fett 21:03, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- You can find the chronological order of all Star Wars books here. As for the merge, anyone can do it. In fact, if you want to, let me know what you were thinking on my talk page, and I'll see what I can do. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 21:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Technical Help
Hey Ataru. I've got a dumb question but one that's driving me crazy. How do you make the arrow in the edit summary that everyone uses? Oh and by the way, my era symbols are off (they're in the middle of the page at the top). I've heard this is just a fault of Internet Explorer. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks a lot. Chack Jadson 20:46, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks Ataru. I'm not that technologically advanced, as you can see. Oh and about the eras tag, that'd be great. Although, I could do it too. Anyway, thanks.
- Oh, that's okay. You've already helped me a lot today. Nice talking to you. Chack Jadson 21:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

- I have not over reacted in the least. I have long thought of these changes. It was not until Jack's administator election failed. You had nothing to do with this. This is my responsibility. I am trying to protect users from tyranny. It is my way of helping the Wiki, since I will never be an administrator. I hope you will understand.--IG-Prime(IG-2000) 22:59, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello AM88. Thanks for contacting me. Many pages on the site are very bad grammatically, so I have made it my mission to fix them, as well as to find out as much as I can about Star Wars that I don't already know. Well, as I said, thank you for contacting me. Sincerely, Djemsokiller

Re:Forum:Featured Article Reform Proposal
Hey Ataru. To answer your question, it's that I don't think we should require a majority of the Inquisitors to be admins. I agree with Jaymach about us not being an elitist society. Plenty of good users are admins. I only voted for a few users. You for example, would earn my vote whether or not you're an admin. Just because I don't support the whole policy doesn't mean I don't support any of the nominees. Chack Jadson 20:19, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've decided the current policy is okay. I'll scratch my vote. Chack Jadson 11:40, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I just can't get myself to support this. I support qualfifed users, which all of you are, but I don't think we should require four admins. Maybe no policy? The four admins required just makes it seem very "exclusive", I guess. I'll think about it and decide later today. Chack Jadson 11:48, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've withdrawn my vote on the forum, and I may vote yes—on one condition: The proposed idea of removing objections made that it would not be allowed. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 12:29, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Lightsaber Forms
"Italic text*I have no desire to get into an edit war over this. But the picture of Aayla specifically identifies the stance as a Djem So stance, so she has to have some knowledge of it. I am changing it back because the canon states she has some practical knowledge of the form. Also, the belief that Makashi died out should remain in the BTS section- there is no proof that it still exists in the NJO, and all its known practitioners at the time of Great Jedi Purge are dead. If you would like to discuss this issue more, use the talk page for the article or my talk page please. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 19:25, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I to want a peaceful relationship. Aayla is a Form IV practioner. So says the creator. Now do you suspect after all she demonstrates in the comics that she is anything close to a Djem So user?
Form II and its alleged extinction should not be in the BTS because it is a fanon theory and is misleading. It is also a fallacy. The argument from ignorance, also known as argumentum ad ignorantiam ("appeal to ignorance" [1]) or argument by lack of imagination, is a logical fallacy in which it is claimed that a premise is true only because it has not been proven false, or that a premise is false only because it has not been proven true.
You did that. It will be removed. You can think it died out all you want, but you can not post it here. It is untrue and misleading.DarthMalus 19:55, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- I can live with that. We have reach a compromise. DarthMalus 19:55, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- Atarumaster88 I have been interested in Makashi for some time and I know almost all the moves. And it is about time(if you need proof) that you know I am the author of the article called Common Moves and Mauneuvers in Makashi, this was before I joined Wookieepedia. Although I just joined yesterday Febuary 7th, I have been editing Wookieepedia for some time and have been reading it long before that. Back on Subject, with all due respect I would like to ask if when Makashi comes of protection for me to finish the article that I started, I did not finish it origanally because I wasn't sure how the Wookieepedian community would react to a Lightsaber Combat geek like myself, and since I am not renound for grammar would you be willing to edit and Wookieefy it if I did get premission to add this information? Derek Yoda's friend 01:51, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
If you want to know the connociality of this: I have read pretty much everything about Makashi on the Internet, I have support from the texts of many online sights, In my opinion( which here means nothing) any move that is written down and is used by a known practicioner in the Movies such as Count Dooku, that would be cannon? Here are some basic moves for Makashi if you don't think they are cannon I will try and show you how to find them. Almost all of these moves were used by Count Dooku this is just a small portion of the many moves. Contact me at Derek Yoda's friend talk page if you have any questions.
- High Parry 1
Hold the handle with one hande above and infront of your head, arm stretched out. The blade should be horizontal. This will block any vertical slashes attacking the top of the head. Count Dooku is seen doing this in Star Wars Episode III near the beginning of the duel between Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Count Dooku.
Left Parry - Defence Body Hold the blade horizontal with the handle to the left of your head at about shoulder height. The blade should run just in front of and below your chin. Count Dooku is seen doing this on Star Wars Episode III
One Handed Block - Defence Body Hold the saber so the blade is horizontal just below chin height, tighten your wrist enough force to absorb a hard blow. Derek Yoda's friend 22:34, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Atarumaster88, I would like to ask why the Lightsaber Combat Forms are under protection, was it something I did, you never expressed any unhapiness with my work. Derek Yoda's friend 23:52, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- But the threat about being banned whew! I'm gonna back off for a while, wouldn't want to have such a big terrible thing happen to a innocent little chap like me. I'll let the braver people add to lightsaber combat for a while.Derek Yoda's friend 00:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

- Fair enough, but if you havent read it all you can't judge it ;) also it issent a novel nor just an article why? because for example Every has seen the movies and most people have read the books for example where Luke Skywalker is in so every one can picture it, now since my character is not in a novel nor in a book I need to make it something between a 'novel' and an article to give ya an idea, and yeah the image of the girl is used much I know but the fact of the matter is she looks the most as how I pictured Ayala, either way judge my story again once you have found time to read it all and if not don't ;) either way still thanks for the replyGaledze(Connection Trough The Force) 10:25, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

FA Objection for Hoth
I addressed it on the FA page, but if you haven't seen it: The information on Hoth's other battles that's in the article is all there is. What we know of Hoth's campaign before Ruusan is a list of battles and some broad summary in the NEC and such. There's really no other detail to add. - Lord Hydronium 05:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Re:Jaina Solo FA
0. By 'editing', I mean English conventions, not content(I assume you know this; never hurts to make sure). 1. It's not really an objection, more of a question. I'm not exactly certain how well edited the average Wookiepedia article is, so I don't know how this compares. 2. I'm probably blowing this way out of proportion; I am sort of obsessive when it comes to editing. 3. I should be able to get around to 'fixing' it before March, probably earlier. At that time, my vote will go on the 'agreed' category. Sorry about being excessive. (I am very opinionated; look at all my userboxen:-). Thanks. Grand Moff Rhell 19:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm saying that a) I am overexcessive when it comes to grammar and you should mostly ignore me, and b) that sometime in the next 3 weeks I will probably fix the article's grammar. Note:When I say 'grammatical errors', this encompasses all articles with error amounts greater than 2 slightly disordered sentences and 5 misplaced commas....Like I said, I'm overexcessive. Thanks. Inquisitorius
Since at this point, the Inquisitorius looks like a sure bet (no one saw that coming), I was just wondering if you could do an extra tweak to the temp page - Make a third forum: An Inquisitor's noticeboard. This would allow us to keep the other two forums "pure" so to speak. Internal discussions could be named "Inquisitorius:xxx", and outside questions, comments and complaints could be just named normally. What do you think? Also, I'd like to personally do the outline of the format for reviews, if you don't mind. If you want me to do it, drop me a line, and I'll outline it to you. .... 22:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll probably cannibalize the Form IV style as you suggested, but if I run into any problems, I'll give a shout. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 23:35, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh, gods, I can imagine; categorizing them's tricky enough at times that sourcing them should be a nightmare. Wish me luck (and no cracks about there being no such thing, thank you very much). Jwebb13HoloNet40px 23:38, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I finished making my first major revisions to the Djem So article. Please take a look when you get a chance; any advice/critiques/etc. that you may have would be greatly appreciated. The (non-existent as yet) title of Wookieepedia Blademaster shall be mine! Jwebb13HoloNet40px 01:46, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Damn. Okay, I think I've taken care of all the problems with the past tense, though I'm not entirely content with the pics in the article. I couldn't find a shot of Vader fighting Obi-Wan on Mustafar that I really liked, but c'est la vie. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I referenced the similarities between Form V and the "Strong style" in the article's opening. Should I move that section from there to the BTS area? Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:10, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
It's now in the BTS; thanks for reminding me that there's a difference between "obvious" and "canonical." Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:21, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Thankfully, most of that was done before I got involved (though I'm planning on going back and double-checking what I can). The most I've had to do on that end is include Episodes II-VI on the list of appearances. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:26, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I'll take a look into the other forms (except maybe Niman; I wouldn't soil myself through association with that paragon of uselessness). It'll give me something to do, and Forms III, IV (I'll leave it alone, I promise), and VII interest me nearly as much as Form V does. What can I say? I love the idea of people taking the most efficient cutting instrument ever devised and then trying to beat people to death with it. ;) Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Ah, you want the movies to be listed under Appearances.... No problem; I was kind of surprised to find that they weren't there already as I was going over the article. And being a Nazi about your nearest and dearest projects seems perfectly understandable. Vandals, beware! (cue ominous music) Jwebb13HoloNet40px 02:42, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

I would like you to review Dooku for FA status. It seems to be lacking vital information that needs to be added. It may just need to be expanded, but if it does, I don't think it needs to keep its FA status.--IG-Prime(IG-2000) 19:59, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Regarding FA Procedure....
Thanks for the heads-up. The loose formality of this place leads me to get ahead of myself sometimes, and my group social skills have always been a bit blundering anyway. While I've got ahold of you, do you have any advice about sourcing an article? I've tried helping out on a few tasks listed on the Admin page, but I've never tried sourcing for some reason. Jwebb13HoloNet40px 05:53, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Huh. Yeah, I'll probably tackle that tomorrow. My back went out again today and my thought processes aren't exactly at their best. ;) Jwebb13HoloNet40px 06:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I have a problem with another wookiepedian. He follows all the articles he have edited and, when someone changes anything, he changes another thing too for being the last one to edit it, and that day by day every time he connects. Most of the times the articles became worst than they were before he edited, because a lot of times he write the same but with different sentences that don't match. And the evolution of an article cannot be apreciated with details because he appears everywhere.
An example, he has removed from 9 articles the category "Corellian starships" without any explanation:
01:39 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV series (última modificación) 01:38 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-260 (última modificación) 01:37 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-664 light freighter (última modificación) 01:36 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-330 light freighter (última modificación) 01:36 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-545 light freighter (última modificación) 01:35 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-929 armed freighter (última modificación) 01:34 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-100 light freighter (última modificación) 01:34 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-666 light freighter (última modificación) 01:34 13 feb 2007 (hist) (dif) YV-888 freighter (última modificación)
I am begining to think he's a Yuuzhan Vong. I want to know if something can be done, thanks for your time. --Palpatine81 03:28, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I also fix small errors for improving the articles many times, and I don't deny he has modified some articles that way. But the problem I see is the adiction, changing only for being the last one to edit. If I have just edited and article that I´m watching and I see that another wookiepedian changes it I let it be, but he don´t, he changes anything to be the last despite he damages the article many times and that difficults watching articles evolution with that way of acting.
- I haven´t seen any normative forbides that, despite I think it´s between neutral and bad for the Wookiepedia and it hinders other people. Then I would revert myself when he changed articles to bad, but things like this of the category I´m amazing. Thanks anyway. --Palpatine81 12:58, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I speak English, I have Cambridge's first certificate, I know economical vocabulary, I have read Star Wars books in original version and have seen the films without translating. I don´t have an userbox that tells my level because I haven´t decided if it´s high or medium. I use a online translator but for translating from German to English, for giving a look to the automatic translation of an English wookiepedia article and later write it in Spanish or for checking the correct grammar of an English word.
- I don´t know where have you found posts written by me that don't make a whole lot of sense in English because I only add interwikis, fix links and delete spaces at the end or the pharagraphs. I remember now the articles Fodurant and Beauchen, there I wrote in English, if there is any mistake or the sense is not the proper please change it. I know how to write English articles, but I prefer not to do so and work in Spanish Star Wars Wiki. I think it´s better native speakers write in their Wookiepedia, I don´t do so if I don´t think it´s very important.
- User talk is called "página de discusión" en español, but it´s only the most used translation from English, yours translation is good too. The adjective is "muy bueno", not "mucho bueno", but I´m impressed, your Spanish is very good (I know what I´m talking about, I´m from Madrid and there are two American universities in the city, and you speak Spanish well). Sorry anyway for my English if I do a mistake.
- About being the last one on the article, I think it´s an addiction, but it´s not forbidden. I don´t agree when the article gets worse than it was before his edition, which have been made for protagonism and for getting more editions and not for improving the article. Looking any the historic changes of any article he have recently edited anyone can see proofs of that, but if that´s right now I only have the problem with the categories, I thank your mediation and hope soon the articles are correctly classificated. --Palpatine81 17:34, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- FYI, the only "addiction" I have is to improve Wookieepedia. I have no desire to always be the first name on an article's history list. If I was, I would be wanting to edit every single article all the time, which, of course, I don't do. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 20:54, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Spanish
I used the word normative (in Spanish "normativa") cos I didn´t remember then other that sounded more common. Most of archaic (OK, old) English words that nobody uses or are considered very polite now come from Latin and are more close to Spanish. It´s like when you are reading a text (even in your own language) and you don´t understand, many things can be acknowledged by the context, but perhaps 10% is missed. I have studied English since I went to primary School and I´m sure you are seing a lot of mistakes (feel free to tell me, please). Believe me, in three years studing Spanish you have made miracles, ¿are you the boyfriend of Penelope Cruz? But if you want I can reply you in Spanish (the same as Galactic Basic basic here) for practicing, or in Pak Pak (the same but with Russian accent, lol).
In Europe DVDs use to be in various languages, if you want to see Star Wars films in Spanish you can check the vocabulary here. Notice that there are two Spanish translations of the films: the Spanish and the Mexican. Clone Wars is said "Guerras Clon" in Spanish and "Guerra de los clones" in American Spanish, and Return of the Jedi here is called "El retorno del Jedi" and "El regreso del Jedi" in other countries. --Palpatine81 00:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Scripts
The scripts should now be fixed. Sorry I made it unclear to you, but I noticed that the scripts we were talking about were already installed on Wookieepedia. BTW, what is this whole Inq thing? I've been preparing for entrance exams (still am), so I think missed a lot here. —Mirlen 04:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. I baked the cookies all by myself single-handedly, you know. :P (ETA: That is why I strongly reccomend getting a second opinion behind this. I feel like I am slightly Wikipedia-tainted and while I can see a slow and gradual transition to some of its policies (i.e. sourcing), I don't trust myself to judge articles fully according to Wookieepedia policy without having Wikipedia's pop up in my mind when it comes to issue of what I see as fancruft.) —Mirlen 04:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good luck! I was wondering what your assessment was of Anakin Solo's article. Since it was my first major contribution to an FA article, I still retain a fondness for it. However, I can't help but feel that is outdated with current FA standards and I am wondering if it is to the level in which I should go and request a removal of its FA status (it pains me to do it, but I'm deciding this purely based on rationale and logic). After entrance exams and other sorts of lovely standardized testing is over, I will get back to work with it and up back to current standards. —Mirlen 04:57, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. Some of those images I did not add. I would actually to remove several of those images; I'd like to keep images that illustrates relevance to important events. As for sourcing, the addition of Personality section, and relationship section are all points I agree with. (I'll look into the intro.) Thanks for taking the time to look over it briefly. The Corellian section, I think, could use some work. (ETA: If Anakin Solo article is stripped of its FA status this weekend, I'd support the motion. There's no way I can get it brushed up by Saturday; I can't promise major edits anytime soon anyway.) —Mirlen 05:09, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Reform
You may think that this is silly, but since I believe that one's user should reflect their inner most self and ideals, and since my views have changed recently (for the better I can assure you) and also because I need something to keep me on my toes, I have decided to close down my current user profile (possibly only temporarily) in favor of a newer one. While I realize puppets are against the policy of this site, I will redirect my page to my new one. This is not to extrapolate your opinion of this action, but merely to inform you of the change, so at least you will know what I am doing and why (you may not even care at all). I will inform you when the change is complete. Now, excuse me while I make sure, one last time, that I am not compromising any rules.--Dooku(Solar Sailer)17px 01:46, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Niman
Hello. Normally I would not want to bother anyone over such a small issue, but I am a curious soul. A little while ago, in the Niman article, you reverted an edit I had made replacing a non-canon image of Darth Revan. Now, that's all well and good, but seeing as Revan's face has yet to be revealed, should not the edit I had made stayed in place? If you have reasons, please share them: as I said, I am curious. If this is not the place to discuss such matters, please feel free to remove this question. Din's Fire 997 20:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Not really... So, we're not sure if it's canon that he's a user... so we use a non-canon image... to show it? That's like saying "we don't know what form of commbat Jaden Korr used, so here he is as a Rodian." I don't really follow the logic here. But seeing as Revan will probably be kicked from that gallery anyway, I suppose it's nothing worth complaining over. Din's Fire 997 18:03, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I see. Thank you for your time, and for being so courteous. Din's Fire 997 22:38, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Fourdot's Gone Too Far...
Guys, I really didn't want it to have to come to this, but I'm afraid that Fourdot is going too far. I suppose I could excuse what he did with the opening paragraphs and the section on his childhood, but the fact is that when he got to Palpatine's relationship with Plagueis, he deleted important information just to have it all fit in a single paragraph. He has shown no restraint in carrying out what he threatened to do. And I have to assume that this is his intent across the board. While I never wanted or expected to have to say this, Havac, I do mind this kind of change, and it does make the article worse. Much worse.
But I'm not asking for a full-blown war over this. First, I'd like to see if the Inquisitorius really is a collection of well-meaning people like I've been saying they are. Neptune, Atarumaster, Culator, et. al., I'm going to assume that what Fourdot's doing, he's doing without your consent or agreement. He's not waiting for the end of the two-week grace period for you to make an informed joint decision; he's just jumping the gun and making your decisions for you. If you really didn't have this in mind, and Fourdot really doesn't speak for you, as you've publicly stated on this forum, then act now. Call him back into line and allow us to find a better middle-ground than this, the opposite extreme to what you asked to be changed. Stop him and allow a third option to be explored.
I've been reasonable and gotten your backs against a good friend of mine, just to keep things calm until we'd finished making the changes you asked for. I did what you asked, and was going to keep doing so. Then one of your own started to override both our work and your will. Please prove me right in the good things I have believed about you, and stop Fourdot now, before it's too late. Erik Pflueger 20px 01:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

1.) No, I will not just do nothing. 2.) As much as my current state of anger might make it seem a pleasurable option, I'm not going to try to have Fourdot recalled as an Inquisitor. You've as much as said that it would get nowhere, in any event. Besides, fanatic about this issue as he may be, we were civil once, and I have to assume we can be again someday. But to do that, he has to give too. 3.) But since he plainly stated he has no interest in compromising his (lack of) vision, I see no point in attempting to emply diplomacy with him. His position is a non-starter, and while I have compromised to meet the Inquisitorius' needs, I will not go that far. 4.) I will probably assemble my alternative page and submit it for a vote, but if I need help in doing so (meaning just how it's done and all), can I ask you for help?
Again, thank you for your time and effort. May I ask that you do continue monitoring things for a while? I'm sorry if it brings you down; to be frank, it's been doing the same thing to me lately... ;) Erik Pflueger 20px 03:17, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Jaina Solo FA
Yay! Thanks. My computer is working properly now and my teachers lessened up on the hw so I'll be able to help the Inq. Jaina Solo(Goddess Stuff) 01:31, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Inq:Trioculus
Your comment on the Inq:Trioculus page "Things to do" section wasn't really written like it was an objection, so I assumed it was merely a comment/idea and noted that the article had been passed. If I was wrong, and you are actualy objecting, then my apologies and the passed tag one the FA page should be removed until it's discussed. - Lord Hydronium 04:39, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Please!
Hey Atarumaster,it's me troyb.I heard of a new policey that say's you have to contribute to wookieepedia or you are gone. But that's my problem,I mostly help out on descussion's and add pic's,I really don't want to be baned for not contributing as much as every one else. Troyb 23:02, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- What? What policy is that? (sorry for butting in, btw). KEJ 23:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Although I typically don't reply here, I will link to this discussion: Forum:Excessive useless edits. To clarify, this proposal is only out to get people who only contribute to userpage and usertalk. You'd have to devote more than half of your Wookieepedia contributions to user page edits to be in trouble with the new policy proposal. It's designed to reduce the amount of people who want to use this site for social purposes. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 02:10, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Yes, I know that discussion. But it's not a policy yet, is it? Troyb nade it sound like there had already been established a policy. The punishment has been settled, but not yet the crime, right? Thanks for answering. KEJ 08:24, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Phew. Well, I applaud the idea of preventing users from using the Wook for social purposes, but it's a very delicate affair, and it will take some meticulous and hard work on behalf of those who assume the responsibility of upholding the policy when it gets established. KEJ 15:25, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

- So I'm O.K. then. Troyb 15:36, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I assume that primarily uploading pics for the sake of useing them in articles is not considered pointless editing anyway. So, if your pics are uploaded to be used in articles primarily, then I think you'll be okay anyhow. I would also assume that primarily participating in discussions regarding the development and improvement of Wookieepedia is not considered pointless either. KEJ 15:39, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
O.K. that's good then. Troyb 16:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Image
Hey Atarumaster I need your opinion on something, witch do you think is a better image for my talk page. 300px|thumb|left|Welcom to troyb's confrence room.
And Why can't I make the image on my talk page bigger? Troyb 16:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Inquisitorius Policy Question
Hey Ataru, I was advised to ask you my Perfectly Innocent Question: Is there a clear, codified policy for accepting new Inquisitors? I ask not because I want to become one, but because I have an idea, and the main Inq page doesn't make it clear. —Gonk (Gonk!) 20:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Past issues
I am very sorry for being involved in a few conflicts in the past between other users like EFCM and Quinlanfan. I have apologised to Quinlanfan over that forum and I intend to do the same to EFCM. The only thing I share in common with those people is our Christianity. I am fully aware that I am not entirely perfect and I too have transgressed against others. I promise I will try to make a few article edits whenever I can though schoolwork and church always comes first. MyNz 05:37, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Wiki
Hey Atarumaster I was thinking of starting my own wiki but I'm going to need alot of help.Do you think it's a good idea? Troyb 20:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hey AtarumasterI was going to start a book wiki but I have decieded to wait for the right time also what is that on my talk page, when I loged in their was some sorta...I don't know what it was. Troyb 00:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Protest
"And sadly, something as seemingly innocuous as a sign of nonviolent dissent, Cooper, would have been taken and used as a protest symbol. It's happened before, sadly."
Just out of curiosity, can you explain this a little further? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "a protest symbol". CooperTFN 08:47, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Even if there were a real way for one or two people to "derail" an organization like the Inqs, which I can't imagine, do you really think someone so inclined would only do so upon seeing a sympathetic userbox? As long as we're doing this, and since you seem receptive to having the conversation, my two biggest problems with the Inq are like this:
- -first, effectiveness. I really don't want to keep beating the Booster drum because this isn't an ego thing and I'm indifferent to its FA status, but that's the example with which I'm most familiar so I'm stuck with it - one of the reasons it was deemed unworthy of FA is the style of the prose. This was debated extensively at its time of creation, during its FA nomination, and then some. There were definitely some people who objected to it, but it was never conclusively decided to be a bad thing, and nothing was ever changed. Among those who were okay with it (or actively defended it), were future Inqs Darth_Culator, Breathesgelatin, and StarNeptune. Now, a year later, it's once again listed matter-of-factly as a negative, and in an Inq meeting that, incidentally, doesn't involve Culator, gelatin, or Neptune, it's brought up and voted down in the span of two minutes. Does that seem like a system that's doing the people's work? I didn't mention the sourcing or sectioning complaints, because those are valid issues, and while I'd personally disagree with the matters of Exile info and the intro's POV, I can at least understand their being brought up. But are any of these matters debated? Not remotely. They're listed as de facto problems, and because no one amongst the four Inqs present disagrees, it's therefore the official position of Wookieepedia (and thus, its hundreds of users) that it's not a Featured Article. If someone objects to all that, their sole option is to say something on the complaints page, where the only people who will see it are the people about whom they're complaining, in all likelihood the same exact people (all four of them) who voted against it in the first place. Is that a fair system?
- -second, the heart of the matter. Even if all the above logistical stuff ceased to be an issue, the mere notion of a review board whose sole function is to judge others' work seems, to me, to be the complete antithesis of Be Bold, which is one of, if not the core principle of Wikipedia & co. From our version of the article: "How many times have you read something and thought, "Why aren't these pages copy-edited?" Wookieepedia not only allows but wants you to add, revise and edit the article yourself." If a person feels that something in an article isn't as it should be, their role as a wiki user is to fix it themselves, or if it's patently beyond their ability for whatever reason, to find someone who can. If you're not concerned enough about something to work up the guff to change it yourself, and you can't find anyone else - via the talk page, improvement drive, or any other means - who's willing to change it, then wiki logic would seem to indicate it must not be much of a problem, if at all. That may or may not be true as a universal principle - certainly an article written by the Neo-Nazi community would have some POV issues - but it's the basis for everything that happens here. CooperTFN 07:42, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you think it's worth doing, by all means. I'm not sure how effective bringing things up there actually is (notice a theme here? =p) but maybe it'll get somewhere on account of you actually being an Inq yourself. I'll keep an eye out for it. CooperTFN 18:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Why???
The character's talk page is where we are supposed to talk about that character and ask questions about that character. Why do you think different? Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
Everyone has been allowed to talk and ask questions about the character on the character's talk page until now. Why the change? Everyone has done it. Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
I have been blocked for "harassing" you. All I did was ask questions. How is that harassing? The person must have me confused with someone else. I am sorry if what I said made you mad. I was only asking questions because I was confused. Do you think you could unblock me since I was not harassing you? Thanks, Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
I looked up the word harass in the dictionary and it says: Harass- to trouble by repeated attacks.
I did none of those thing I was just confused. Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
Thank you so much, and I am sorry. So I can only ask questions that are related to the article or what the article says? Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
IRC inq meeting
Hey. Thanks for informing me about the upcoming meeting, and thanks for the invitation. I appreciate it as well as the openness of the Inq system that it signals. I'll have to decline the invitation, though, due to reasons having to do with RL (the same reasons behind my taking a break from the Wook). KEJ 19:39, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for that info too, but I don't think I'll have the time to observe the inq-meetings. I hope some of the other so-called detractors will take you up on your invitation though, so they can see how the inq works. KEJ 08:39, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey, Atarumaster88. I was just wondering how you make a custom Template. Thanks, DarkJedi Robert 15:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
