The Urce system was located in the Urce sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It was also situated in grid square L-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Urce system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[3] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[4] The Clone Wars: Act on Instinct, a webcomic authored by Pablo Hidalgo and released on StarWars.com[5] over the span of the 2009[6]–2010[7] second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series,[6] featured the first appearance of the Urce system.[5]
