A tiny planet in an unnamed sector of the Outer Rim orbited at a distance from its tiny sun, resulting in its atmosphere and oceans being unsettled. During the High Republic Era, the planet was located within the Occlusion Zone territory of the Nihil marauders. In 228 BBY, Nihil General Abediah Viess escaped to the planet in a yacht, leaving the vessel trapped alongside a message for Jedi Master Porter Engle, who was following her.
Description
A tiny planet situated in an unnamed sector of the Outer Rim Territories orbited a tiny sun and possessed a low set of planetary rings. As a result of being nearly too far out to be caught in the star's gravity, the planet's orbit was ragged, preventing its breathable atmosphere from settling and also disturbing its oceans. Despite the conditions, life existed on the planet in the form of types of lichen and moss, which were fed on by small insects. One area of the planet's surface featured soggy red wetland terrain. The planet's sky could appear a steely gray color striated with thick clouds.[1]
History
General Abediah Viess (pictured) escaped to the planet in a stolen yacht.
By 228 BBY,[2] during the High Republic Era, the planet was located within the Occlusion Zone, the territory of the Nihil marauders behind the Stormwall barrier.[1] In that year,[2] the Nihil General[1] Abediah Viess[3] escaped to the planet after fleeing from the planet Naboo in the stolen Averis Starburst San Tekka family yacht. Viess landed the yacht against a cliff, lighting a perimeter of torches around it as an invitation to Jedi Master Porter Engle, who Viess knew was pursuing him. Viess placed traps in the yacht and left a message on its walls directing Engle to her next location, the planet Isolt, before departing.[1]
Engle, following a tracking beacon on the yacht, used a shuttle from Naboo to travel to the planet. Upon his arrival within hours of Viess's departure, the Jedi considered the planet to be backwater than most Outer Rim worlds but noted that he had seen worse. After landing several kilometers away and crossing the wetlands, Engle found the yacht with the torches still lit and entered the vessel. He spotted Viess's message and used the Force to manipulate his lightsaber and cut out the section of metal with the words. However, Engle triggered a self-destruct, and the Jedi Master collected the piece of metal before using the Force to shield himself from the explosion of the yacht, which scorched the nearby area. Engle eventually departed the planet to follow Viess's message.[1]
