This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1]
Biology and appearance
This sentient species was distinguished by the pair of prehensile cheek tentacles extending down from their ears and past their chin.[2] They possess mottled gray and blue skin. They also donned distinctive helmets that covered their entire face, though the purpose of these helmets is currently unknown.[1]
Species in the galaxy
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a member of this species could be found on the planet Daiyu, employed at the shady location known as "The Den" in Daiyu City[3] by 9 BBY,[4] obliviously working when Obi-Wan Kenobi snuck past them to rescue a young Leia Organa who was being held in one of the building's back rooms.[3] Another member of this species could be found sharpening a blade at Port Borgo shortly after the young castaways Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB initially arrive[5] around 9 ABY.[6] In 35 ABY,[7] yet another member of this species attended the Aki-Aki Festival of the Ancestors on Pasaana, being present when Rey Skywalker and company arrived on their mission to track down a Sith wayfinder.[1]

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew — "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier"
- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well. As
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is set in the same time period as The Mandalorian, it must therefore also be set around 9 ABY.
