A human reporter that was present in a lounge at Gate 9 of the Imperial Senate Building in 2 BBY when Senior Senator Mon Mothma delivered a speech denouncing the Ghorman Massacre which they watched via the lounge's viewscreen. After the speech they were part of a crowd of journalists that surrounded Mothma asking for comments on the speech when she and Cassian Andor exited the turbolift from the senate chamber. As Mothma made her way through the crowd they were next to a human named Beska drew and aimed her blaster on Mothma claiming to be making an Imperial Security Bureau authorized arrest. To which the report ducked to the ground with their hand over their head. Before the arrest could continue, Erskin Semaj, an aid to Mothma call Beska a rebel spy which provided enough of a distraction for Andor to draw his blaster and shoot Beska. After picking up Beska's blaster, Semaj used it to cover Mothma and Andor's escape before he too left the senate building. During the incident, the reporter had brown hair, brown eyes, light skin and wore a red jacket over lavender shirt and a large necklace.[1]

The reporter appeared in the ninth episode of the second season of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor[1] which aired on May 6, 2025.[2] They were portrayed by Fiona Skinner in the episode and credited as simply "Senate Reporter #1".[1]
