In 2 BBY, they detailed recent events that occurred in Palmo from the plaza.[1] They were later present in the plaza detailing operations being conducted by the Galactic Empire, with themselves being watched on a screen by Eedy Karn on the planet Coruscant.[2]

The reporter appeared in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's seventh episode, "Messenger," which was released on Disney+[1] on May 6, 2025.[3] The reporter was portrayed Taniel Yusef and listed in the series' credits as simply "Reporter #2".[1]
