«We were promised there would be no shadow cast from the new building onto the memorial.»
―Woman discussing the Imperial building at a town hall[1]

A human woman with light skin and blue eyes lived the planet Ghorman during the Imperial Era.[1] In 19 BBY, she lost her family in the Tarkin Massacre in which Moff Wilhuff Tarkin landed his cruiser in Palmo Plaza on top of a group of peaceful demonstrators and killing five hundred who were blocking the landing, unarmed civilians. Following the massacre a monument was installed in the plaza.[2] When the Galactic Empire began construction of an armory in 4 BBY[3] under the guise of calling it an annex there was a promise that the building would never cast a shadow over the memorial. However as construction continued the women attended a town hall meeting in Palmo to express her concern that the Empire was breaking that promise. Lezine, a fellow Ghorman interrupted her statement to express his belief that they knew that the Empire was building a fortress.[1]
