This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1]
Biology and appearance
This bipedal sentient species was distinguished by their blue skin, semi-furry bodies, and large mandibles.[1]
Species in the galaxy
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, in 5 BBY,[2] a member of this species could be found on the planet Niamos, specifically lounging on the beaches around Pier Nine when Cassian Jeron Andor was arrested.[1]
Behind the scenes

This species was first designed for the 2019 film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, directed by J.J. Abrams, though it ultimately did not make the final cut,[3] the mask only shown in the behind-the-scenes bonus footage included with the Blu-ray release of the film,[4] though it was worn by Tom Wilton during at least one deleted scene taking place on Tatooine.[5] The species would later make it's full official debut when the costume was recycled for seventh episode of the 2022 television series Andor.[1]

Tom Wilton (@tomKwilton) on Twitter (post on March 21, 2020): "Can’t help with the first 3 (although the 1st guy looks like a Kimiji character to me) but the last pic is a pull on head that I got fitted for in Jordan as a background character to populate the scene where Rey travels to Tatooine. They went in a different direction in the end" (screenshot) (In response to: Need some help! Trying to figure out where these characters are supposed to be (which planet/scene) in #StarWars #TheRiseOfSkywalker. Maybe @missingwords can tell, or @tomKwilton @NickKellington have seen them on set? The last one I've not seen outside creature shop.)
