Tom Wilton is a creature and droid performer who worked on Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens,[1] Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,[2] Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi[3], Solo: A Star Wars Story[4], and Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[5]
In The Force Awakens he portrayed B-U4D and worked with Derek Arnold to portray the luggabeast. He also wore the costume of Sarco Plank for promotional photography, but did not portray him in the film. In Rogue One Wilton portrayed Ponda Baba and Bor Gullet, and in The Last Jedi he portrayed Edmo Ectacle and worked with Arnold again to bring Bargwill Tomder and the Thala-siren to life. In the final film of the sequel trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker, Wilton played the costumed Aftab Ackbar and operated the inside of a binary loadlifter prop that the character Vazzet Dipterz sat atop.[5].
