A Force-sensitive human was a Jedi of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[1] At one point by 384 BBY,[2] they were present in the Jedi Temple on the Core Worlds[1] planet[3] Coruscant during the Pantoran youngling Kevmo Zink's first day at the Temple. Noticing the Pantoran—who was around three or four years old—was afraid, the human Jedi smiled and reached out with the Force to smooth away Zink's fear. The Jedi also showed the Pantoran how to reach for the Force, and how to let it steady and guide him.[1]

While on the Outer Rim planet Dalna[1] in 382 BBY,[2] Zink—now a Padawan—was attacked by a creature that fed on the Force called the Leveler. While overcome with fear, the Pantoran mentally remembered his first day at the Jedi Temple and the human's interactions with him, and reached out for the Force. Due to the Leveler's effects, however, he found nothing, and ultimately turned to stone and died.[1]

Behind the scenes

The human Jedi was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Deceit, written by Justina Ireland and Tessa Gratton as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[4]
