A type of lifeform found in the galaxy.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] a Umgullian transport ship containing a number of the lifeforms illegally docked in Hanger 5 of Hauler's Keep, a space station located in the Khepi system. While it was docked the lifeforms escaped the the ship and later an announcement was made over the station's speaker system informing the owner of the ship that the lifeforms were loose and were interfering with the station's equipment.[1]

Behind the scenes

The lifeform first mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] The ship type was mentioned in an ambient announcement that players can overhear while on Hauler's Keep.[1] The lifeforms seem to be a reference to the Umgullian blobs, a species of gelatinous creature native to Umgul which were first introduced in Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1994 novel Jedi Search by Kevin J. Anderson.[4]
