An avian type of creature was native to the gas giant Sterna IV.[1] Between 2 BBY and 4 ABY,[2] several of these creatures flew around an Imperial factory facility on the gas giant while the bounty hunter Boba Fett broke out a bounty to deliver to the criminal Tusk on the world Ergeshui. The creatures had a long, protruding beaks topped with hair, along with hair underneath their eyes and over their body.[1]

Behind the scenes

The flying creature appeared in the first issue of the 2025 comic miniseries Star Wars: Boba Fett — Black, White & Red. The issue was written by Benjamin Percy, illustrated by Chris Allen, and published by Marvel Comics[1] on September 17, 2025.[3]
