A starship factory was found on the planet Deppani[1] in the Outer Rim.[2] It was active during the High Republic Era and was known to have the best ships in its sector,[1] the Bri'ahl sector.[3] In 232 BBY,[4] the factory was under the threat of pirates stealing starship parts. A Twi'lek and a human who worked in the factory called in the Jedi Order to stop the pirates.[1]
Padawan Wes Vinik and younglings Nubs, Kai Brightstar, and Lys Solay arrived at the factory to stop the pirate gang led by Taborr Val-Dorn,[1] a prince of the planet Vuundalla.[5] Taborr was almost successful in stealing a thrust accelerator to complete the upgrades to his ship,[1] Iron Talon,[6] but was stopped by Kai before he could do so.[1]
Behind the scenes
The factory was first seen in the show Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures season two in the episode "Upgraded."[1]
