Unidentified armorer

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An armorer worked on^[1] the Mid Rim shadowport^[2] Keldooine during the High Republic Era. By this time, they were known by the mercenary Ty Yorrick for their weapon-making skills. After completing a job on the swamp planet Safrifa^[1] in 231 BBY,^[3] Yorrick planned to sell the armorer some novian ore—which she had received as payment for her work on Safrifa—expecting them to smelt the substance down to forge saw blades. The mercenary briefly considered purchasing one of the armorer's saw blades but also felt she needed more funds to repair her damaged ship. Shortly afterward, however, Yorrick was approached by a pair of Safrifan farmers seeking her help and decided to forego traveling to Keldooine to assist them.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The armorer was mentioned in the novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott^[1] for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I and published on June 29, 2021.^[4] Prior to its release, their mention was included in a StarWars.com preview for the novel on April 22 of that year.^[5]
