A human individual was a mercenary for the Scarabi mercenary group.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the mercenary took part in the kidnapping of Alliance to Restore the Republic leader, Mon Mothma at Uveron City.[1]

Afterwards, Mothma was brought to Safe House Four, where she was held for ransom. The mercenary overheard a conversation between Mothma and Scarabi leader, Hachi where Mothma was attempting to rationalize the rebel cause to her. Hachi started to believe it was a mistake to kidnap Mothma, but before she could free her, the mercenary killed Hachi, not caring for what Mothma had to say and believed it was right to kidnap her. Just then, rebel pathfinders attacked the safe house, forcing the mercenary to leave Mothma and help fight the rebels.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Scarabi mercenary of Mon Mothma first appeared in the fourty-fourth issue of the 2020 Star Wars comic series. The issue was wriiten by Charles Soule, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on March 6, 2024.[4]
