Unidentified Paccian gunboat

A Paccian gunboat was piloted by the Chiss Mid Captain Csap'ro'strob "Apros" of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet at the battle in the Sunrise system known as Senior Captain Thrawn's last stand. During the battle, Apros piloted the Paccian gunboat, which initially spun in circles spewing metallic black smoke to appear derelict. The black smoke, an invention of the Paccosh species who had also provided the gunboat, also served the protective function of diffusing and dissipating laser fire in combat.^[1]

Aboard the Paccian gunboat, Apros also operated a gravity well projector that Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" had acquired during the Vagaari pirate operations and stored in Vault Four of the Universal Analysis Group on the Chiss Ascendancy planet of Sposia. Following Senior Captain Thrawn's battle plan for the battle known as Thrawn's last stand, Apros operated the gravity well projector and the gunboat to provide tactical advantages for Chiss and allied forces during the battle, adding otherwise-impossible precision to in-system hyperspace jumps and preventing Grysk Hegemony naval forces from fleeing.^[1]
