The Sunrise system was the name given to a star system of the Unknown Regions, containing the homeworld of the species who were led by an individual with the title of Magys. The world had been termed "Sunrise" by Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" of the Chiss Ascendancy. The species' dead prevented entry to the system, forcing the Kilji picket cruiser Hammer and the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk to face difficulty when doing so.^[1]
