- "According to my informant, Chancellor Soh's brat is on Abtin, deep within the Occlusion Zone."
- ―Tara, to Karnos
A Frigosian served as an informant for the Mon Calamari Tara in the Nihil marauder organization during the High Republic Era. At Pak Harbor on the planet Abtin in 228 BBY, the informant spotted the human Kitrep Soh, the son of Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh, and contacted Tara about the discovery. Tara then told the Nihil Karnos about their informant's find on a comm channel. The transmission, which mentioned the Frigosian, was discovered by the Segredo Drewen Qweebjillan on the planet Temerancé, who departed from the planet not long after in hope of rescuing Kitrep from the Nihil, successfully doing so.
Biography
- "Just think of the ransom Karnos. We might even make Tempest Runners."
- ―Tara, dreaming about their triumph if they capture Soh based on the informant's sighting
During the High Republic Era, a Frigosian served the Nihil marauder organization and worked as an informant for the Mon Calamari Nihil Tara.[2] In 228 BBY,[3] the Frigosian was on the Outer Rim planet Abtin, part of the Nihil-controlled space known as the Occlusion Zone, when they spotted the humans Kitrep Soh and Jom Lariin at Pak Harbor. Peering at them from an alley while the two conversed, the informant pulled out a holoprojector that relayed text in Frigosian about Soh, who was the son of Galactic Republic Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh, and how[1] he[2] was of vital interest to the Nihil's Ministry of Information.[1]

The Frigosian proceeded to contact their superior, Tara, about their findings on Abtin, who subsequently relayed the information to the Nihil Karnos via comms to share their informant's discovery. Karnos questioned Tara if the individual was really Kitrep, with Tara believing it to be true. Tara expressed the details to Karnos given to them by the Frigosian, with the Mon Calamari dreaming about the payoff and excitedly believing they and Karnos might become Tempest Runners in the Nihil if they captured Kitrep.[2]
The transmission between Tara and Karnos was intercepted by the Segredo Drewen Qweebjillan on the planet Temerancé, who was angered at not being able to partake in a rescue conducted by his master, the monster hunter Ty Yorrick, on the planet and attempted to find another mission to tackle off-world through the comm unit on the starship Rancor Rider. Delighted at finding the transmission, Qweebjillan showed the droid KL-03 about the two pirates' chat, which also mentioned the informant in the chatter, before leaving the planet in the Rancor Rider not long after.[2] Kitrap and Lariin were ultimately rescued by Qweebjillan on Abtin and delivered to[4] the planet[5] Coruscant.[4]
