"You had a good run, Valance. But you're done."
―The Drabatan, to Beilert Valance[2]

A Drabatan was a member of the criminal syndicate known as the Hidden Hand in 1 BBY. The leader of the syndicate—the Tarsunt Gwi—organized a group of bounty hunters led by the cyborg Beilert Valance with the intention to kill the Imperial Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader. The plot was foiled and Vader informed Valance that the Hidden Hand was once a raider group from the planet Chorin that attacked his village years earlier. Valance traveled to the Hidden Hand asteroid base where he was captured by the Drabatan and two other syndicate members after discretely placing a homing beacon on a rock.

The Drabatan led Valance to the entrance of the base where the Drabatan told the bounty hunter he "had a good run" but that it was over. Gwi was revealed to Valance as the leader of the syndicate and the Tarsunt thrashed the hunter for his betrayal. When Gwi readied their blaster to kill Valance, Vader arrived on the asteroid and ordered his stormtroopers to eliminate the syndicate. The Drabatan was killed in the ensuing chaos and Gwi was captured by Vader.

A Drabatan was a member of the rebel-affiliated criminal syndicate known as the Hidden Hand during the Imperial Era.[2] In 1 BBY,[1] the leader of the syndicate—the Tarsunt Gwiplotted to have the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader of the Galactic Empire killed. Gwi hired a crew of bounty hunters, including the human cyborg Beilert Valance. The assassination attempt went awry and Valance learned from Vader that the Hidden Hand[2] was formerly the raider group from[3] the planet[4] Chorin that attacked his village years earlier.[3]

Valance traveled to the Hidden Hand asteroid base and aimed a long-barreled sniper rifle at an opened hangar. The Drabatan and two other syndicate members approached Valance from behind and aimed their blasters at him. They ordered Valance to stand up and called him scum. Unbeknownst to the trio, Valance set a signal beacon on a rock that began blinking red as they placed him in stuncuffs and walked towards the base. The Drabatan told Valance that he "had a good run" but that his time was done.[2]

Gwi questioned the hunter and thrashed him for betraying the syndicate and failing to kill Vader. As the Tarsunt prepared to execute Valance, Vader arrived on the asteroid with stormtroopers and ordered the stormtroopers to kill the Hidden Hand members. The Drabatan was killed and Gwi was captured when the Imperials attacked the base.[2]
